Chapter 16 - Chapter 16: Rohan’s Shocking Offer

The next afternoon, Aarav stood outside a small café near the college.

He had sent a message to Rohan asking to meet.

A few minutes later, a familiar black bike stopped near the café.

Rohan removed his helmet and looked at Aarav with a small smile.

"I was wondering when you would come to me," he said.

Aarav frowned slightly.

"What do you mean?"

Rohan shrugged.

"News travels fast. I already heard about the trouble Anaya's family is in."

Aarav wasn't surprised.

"Then you know why I wanted to talk."

They both sat at a table inside the café.

The atmosphere felt tense.

Aarav looked directly at him.

"You have money and connections. I need your help."

Rohan leaned back in his chair.

"And why should I help you?"

"Not me," Aarav replied calmly. "Help Anaya."

Rohan smiled faintly.

"You really care about her, don't you?"

"Yes."

For a moment, Rohan stayed silent.

Then he said something surprising.

"I can solve the entire problem."

Aarav leaned forward.

"How?"

"I can pay the twenty lakh rupees."

Aarav's eyes widened.

"Just like that?"

Rohan nodded.

"It's not a big amount for me."

Aarav felt hopeful for a moment.

But then he remembered something.

"What do you want in return?"

Rohan's smile slowly returned.

"I'm glad you asked."

He looked straight at Aarav.

"My condition is simple."

Aarav's expression became serious.

"What condition?"

Rohan spoke calmly.

"You leave Anaya."

Aarav felt anger immediately.

"That's ridiculous."

Rohan continued as if nothing happened.

"You disappear from her life."

"And I'll solve all her family's problems."

Aarav stood up angrily.

"You think love works like a business deal?"

Rohan stayed calm.

"I think reality works like that."

Then he leaned closer.

"Without my help, those men will come back."

"And next time they might not just threaten."

Aarav clenched his fists.

Rohan continued quietly.

"If you truly love her… you should think about what's more important."

"Your relationship…"

"Or her family's safety."

Those words hit Aarav hard.

For the first time, he felt completely stuck.

If he refused, Anaya's family could be in danger.

But if he accepted…

He would have to lose the girl he loved.

Rohan stood up and put on his helmet.

"I'll give you two days to think."

Then he added one last sentence.

"Let's see how strong your love really is."

Rohan started his bike and drove away.

Aarav stood there alone, feeling torn inside.

Because now…

He had to make the hardest decision of his life.
