Summer had just begun. Everything around seemed alive. It was a pleasant weather, and the leaves on the trees were playing. It felt as if the animals and birds were singing.
"Oh, god, school's starting soon. I haven't recovered from our previous exams yet."
Jennie, hearing Sira saying this, smiled sweetly and said, "We have to recover from our exams, now we're in our final year of high school."
Sira, who was sad till now, became happy after hearing this and now she started feeling happy that finally she would be going to college in some time.
Sira asked Jennie in a very sneaky voice, "Now that we're in our final year of high school, will you make friends?"
Jennie couldn't understand this.
She said, "You're already my friend; I don't need to make any more friends."
Sira sighed and said, "Yes, I am your friend, but you understand what other friends are."
"Now, what's there to understand? Friend means friendship, isn't it?"
"You're so innocent. By friend, I meant boyfriend."
Jennie choked, "Sira, I think I should focus more on my studies, Because studying and passing entrance exams are essential to going to college."
"I know, but there's a whole year for that."
"...."
" Oh come on, as far as I know you, even if you get a boyfriend, you'll still focus more on your studies.
So tell me what you thought."
"Let's see."
Sira couldn't say anything to Jennie after this.
Somewhere deep down, she knew Jennie could utter such words.
Jennie and Sira had been best friends since childhood. Sira knew Jennie, and Jennie knew Sira very well. Sira was quite mischievous and playful, while Jennie, on the other hand, was quite quiet and kept to herself.

In the classroom,
Today was the first day of the class. Excitement and joy was clearly seen on the faces of all students. There were three lines of benches in the classroom. The line near the door looked quite solitary , middle line seems as if only the nerd would sit there. But Sira liked the third line most, it was near the window and there was lot of sunlight.
Sira pulled Jennie in hast and sat on the fourth seat of the window side's line.
"See ,I grabbed the best seat, Jennie! "
Jennie smiled and nodded .
Soon the class was filled with students chatting with each other. Jennie and Sira was new in the school so , they didn't knoww anyone but still they were happy in each other's company .
After some time a man in his early forties , wearing formal white shirt and black trousers with blue tie entered the class.
His gaze was enough for the students to settle down on their seats and in just a second whole class was dead silent.
"Hello students! I am John Stephen, your maths teacher. "
Everyone greeted him with a warm good morning.
"take out your pens and take this test"
'test, is this man out of his mind, who take test on the very first day of class.'
Sira was very bad student in maths. she passes her maths exam at the edge .So, hearing about math test was punishment for her.
Jennie was calm and unaffected with this sudden announcement as she was a brilliant student who always ranks Ist in any exam.
whole class was in the same shock as Sira.
"Any doubts?" Mr. John asked in very calm voice but threat in his tone was clear 'None of you should have any questions, if someone spoke something then it will not be good for him.'
" Sir, I have a doubt"
" ...."
Everyone had lost their senses to hear this voice. Everyone wanted to know which student has so much courage to question the teacher. A boy who was sitting on the last bench of middle row was stood.
"What do you want to say?"
"Sir I want to say that today is the first day of our class, according to me, you should tell us about the studies and may ask about each other."
Sira gave a thumbs up towards that boy. 'Bro, you are amazing'.
Mr. John kept the papers caught in his hand on his table and saw the whole class and asked in a deep voice "Do you all come to meet each other or to study!"
Mr. John again looked at that boy and said, "I am taking this test so that I can know who all of you are worth sitting here and who is not."
"Now sit and start giving the test."
Mr.John distributed all the test papers to everyone.
Sira did not understand a single letter of the entire paper, Jennie helped her without being noticed by Mr. John. After completing the time, Mr.John took test paper and said before going, "I will tell tomorrow the Mark of this Test, then be ready to know your place."
Similarly, they passed their whole day with the rest of the teachers, but they all were most scared of Mr. John.

" You know that the car has come from my house so far. I have to go. ..thank you today, what you have requested to my dad for you will come with me today this morning. because of you , first time I could go out without any security and surveillance. THANK YOU so much."
"OF COURSE, You are my best friend. I will do it once again, but not today as I am also so scared of your dad. hehee"
Jennie smiled and left in a luxury car. The car was Jennie's favourite.
For Sira, the hectic part of the day was over as now she is free from school for today , but for Jennie.. It wasn't...
