Synopsis
Vincent, a man burdened by a hidden past and an uncanny ability to perceive the anomalous, finds himself abruptly thrust into the tumultuous Marvel Universe. But this isn't just a new world; it's a new calling. A mysterious "SCP Summoning System" latches onto his very soul, offering him a tantalizing promise: contain the impossible, and the vast, powerful assets of the SCP Foundation from his own reality become his. Imagine Stark Tower under siege by a reality-bending entity, or the streets of New York plunged into chaos by an SCP that rewrites the laws of physics. Now, picture Vincent, armed with the System, orchestrating a covert containment. He's not just another hero; he’s the world’s quiet custodian against threats even the Avengers can’t comprehend. Every rogue SCP he manages to subtly contain – a telepathic statue, a regenerating lizard, a pocket dimension hidden in plain sight – grants him access to something monumental: advanced weaponry, SCP-inspired technology, even unique personnel from the Foundation’s endless archives. He navigates a treacherous tightrope, battling threats to both universes, all while carefully concealing his true nature from a world already brimming with secrets. Can he protect this new reality from its greatest unknown dangers, or will the power of the SCP Foundation, and the madness it often harbors, consume him and the Marvel Universe with him? This is the story of a man who must become the ultimate anomaly hunter, wielding one universe's nightmares to save another.

Chapter 1 - First Containment

I stare at the screen, my pulse racing. The weight of it hits me—I'm no longer just a fan. I'm part of this now. I am the Foundation.

The thought alone sends a shiver down my spine. Every late-night SCP wiki binge, every forum post, every theory I ever spun about the anomalous… it all suddenly matters. Not as entertainment, not as speculation—but as reality. And somehow, it's on me to manage it. To control it. To survive it.

And then a thought strikes me: I need to test the system. I need my first SCP.

"System, summon an SCP!" I say, my voice barely above a whisper. My hands are shaking—not from fear, not entirely—but from anticipation.

SCP-999 Summoned

Location: Somewhere in NYC

I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding. Not bad. A small, manageable start. I glance at the city map the system displays. Somewhere in Manhattan…

I decide to deploy an MTF unit. It's one thing to summon an SCP, but actually containing it? That's a whole other level.

Deploy MTF Lambda-12 "Pest Control"

Within seconds, Commander Alexi Booth's response appears. His efficiency is unnerving—but also reassuring. I watch the live feed as his squad, led by Squad Leader Jerry Hudson, navigates the crowded streets, approaching the hospital where SCP-999 has been spotted.

The camera pans inside the hospital. There it is—a small, orange, gelatinous mass bouncing across the floor, leaving a trail of laughter and glee in its wake. Patients who had been pale and listless are now smiling, laughing, even dancing in their beds. The nurses glance around, confused but distracted by their duties, oblivious to the anomaly before them.

Miraculously, no doctors have witnessed it yet.

The team moves with precision. Every step, every command, every hand signal is executed like a choreographed dance. And then John Burch—the containment specialist assigned to physically secure SCP-999—steps forward.

I can't help noticing how… happy he looks. His usually stoic face is lit up with a wide grin, his eyes sparkling in a way I've never seen in a containment specialist. The little orange blob seems to recognize it, bouncing eagerly toward him, wrapping around his legs with a joyous squelch.

Even from the surveillance feed, I can see the effect on him. He's practically skipping back to Prototype Site-01, SCP-999 in tow. That… that's not standard procedure, I think, but there's no time to question it. The SCP is contained.

I lean back in my chair, adrenaline pumping. The weight of what just happened begins to sink in. I can still see the little blob in my mind, its orange form pulsing with energy and joy. Something about it feels alive, more than any creature I've ever seen. And somehow… it's already changing the dynamics at Prototype Site-01.

I run a hand through my hair, glancing around my apartment. The room looks the same, but I feel different. My perspective has shifted. Every shadow, every object, every noise feels charged. There's a tension in the air, like the calm before a storm. Because I know this—SCP-999 was just the start.

There will be more SCPs.

And some of them… won't be this friendly.

I pull up the Anomalous Capture System and scroll through the database. Images, statistics, containment procedures—all of it flashes across the screen. Some entries make me shiver. Others make my stomach turn. But I can't look away. I feel… responsible. More than responsible. I feel accountable.

Because I'm not just summoning them. I'm containing them. I'm managing them. I am the line between this world and the chaos the SCPs could bring. And the presence of superheroes doesn't make it easier. In fact, it makes secrecy nearly impossible.

Nick Fury. S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives. Enhanced individuals with agendas, powers, and authority far beyond mine. I can feel their attention on the system, on the anomalies, on me. One wrong move, and it could all collapse.

And yet… there's exhilaration in it too. Power. Authority. Responsibility. For the first time, I realize the dream I'd spent years imagining isn't just a fantasy. It's real. It's tangible. And it's mine.

I sit back, watching the live feed of Prototype Site-01. The Eye Pods move quietly along the halls, keeping watch. SCP-999 bounces happily, oblivious to the world's dangers. John Burch continues to hum as he moves from chamber to chamber, maintaining equipment. And I… I plan.

I plan the next containment. I plan the expansion of the site. I plan the survival of this Foundation in a world where superheroes exist, where secrecy is fragile, and where anomalies can appear anywhere at any time.

The system flashes another alert, drawing me back from my thoughts:

[INCOMING ALERT]

Unidentified anomalous signal detected…

Possible new SCP manifestation.

I straighten in my chair, feeling the tension coil in my chest. The first step has been taken. The first SCP has been contained. But this… this is only the beginning.

I am the Foundation.

And now, this world… is my responsibility.
