Five years had passed since the night Elara was left for dead in the Forbidden Forest. In the outside world, the Silver Moon Pack had grown arrogant under Alpha Kaelen's rule. But deep within the shadows of the Void, a legend had been born.
The woman standing on the edge of the cliff was no longer the trembling girl from the grand hall. Her silver hair flowed in the wind, and her eyes held the depth of an ancient ocean. Beside her, Malphas stood, no longer just a teacher, but her most loyal ally.
"You are ready," Malphas said, his voice filled with rare pride. "Your power is stable, and your wolf is the strongest I have ever seen."
Elara looked down at the valley where her old pack lived. She could feel their scents, their voices, and most of all, she could feel Kaelen's presence. It no longer caused her pain—only a cold, calculated desire for justice.
"It's time for a visit," Elara replied, her voice smooth as silk but sharp as a blade. "I heard Kaelen is throwing a ball to celebrate his fifth year as Alpha. It would be rude of me not to attend."
"They won't recognize you," Malphas reminded her.
"Good," Elara smirked. "I want to see the look on his face when he realizes that the 'weak Omega' he rejected is now the one who holds his life in her hands."
As she turned to leave, her body shimmered for a second, a flash of silver lightning dancing across her skin. The Silver Moon Heir had returned, and the werewolf kingdom was about to burn.
