Morning sunlight slipped through the curtains.
Takeru slowly opened his eyes.
For a few seconds, he just stared at the ceiling.
Then he sat up.
He waited.
No headache.
No pressure behind his eyes.
No strange sensation in his mind.
Nothing.
Takeru blinked.
"…Huh."
He rubbed the back of his neck.
"I feel fine."
He stood up and stretched.
"Actually…"
He rolled his shoulders.
"I feel really good."
Takeru grabbed his sunglasses from the nightstand and put them on.
His Six Eyes immediately became concealed behind the dark lenses.
"Yep."
He smiled.
"Definitely just needed sleep."
He walked over to the window and opened the curtains.
Bright sunlight filled the room.
Takeru squinted.
"Okay, maybe not that much sunlight."
He laughed and grabbed his clothes.
After getting dressed, he headed out of his dorm.
The halls of Jujutsu High were already starting to wake up.
Takeru walked down the hallway with his hands behind his head.
"Today's gonna be a good day."
He had no headache.
No strange pain.
No weird portals.
No gods showing up.
No unexpected visitors.
For once…
everything seemed normal.
Takeru stopped walking.
"…I probably shouldn't say that."
He looked around suspiciously.
"That's usually when something happens."
Nothing happened.
Takeru nodded.
"Good."
He continued walking.
