Lucas noticed the quizzical look on Julian's face and asked, "You don't believe me, do you?"
"Where is she now?" Julian countered.
Lucas replied calmly, "She's in a hospital room right now."
"Why is she in the hospital again?" Julian asked, his brow furrowing.
Lucas, however, didn't answer. He simply stood up from his chair, turned around, and said, "If you want to know, come with me to the hospital. It's time I told you everything."
「Renford Hospital.」
Nina Chambers lay on the hospital bed, dressed in a white patient gown. Her sister, Tina Chambers, sat beside her, peeling an orange. As she worked, Tina said, "Sis, don't worry. I heard Lucas got you a leading expert on congenital heart disease from The Union. For someone like him, a condition like yours is child's play. It'll be over in the blink of an eye."
