"I'll do that, though the chances of them agreeing to meet up with you aren't high. Unlike you who seems to have… in a way adapted much better, the rest of them are still caught up in shock and fear. They would likely think that you're going to do something to them. Still… I'll try convincing them, your right in thinking that you have better chances being together rather than separated." The man on the other side of the phone line muttered before the sound of the call disconnecting was heard.

Sliding the phone back onto its tray on the wall, Alan turned and headed back to his living room couch and sat down, there was nothing else to do at this point besides wait for the call.
Minutes passed one after the other in complete silence, there were no sounds being heard, none from the hallways and none from the roads down below, which usually would have already been filled with at least a few cars driving down the road, however there was nothing but complete and utter silence.
'I have to calm down and be as logical as possible. Firstly when I meet those people, I shouldn't let my guard down, whilst a human killing me isn't really something possible in a frontal confrontation with my increased perception, agility and strength. They could still stab me in the back if I don't guard against it.' Alan thought as he released a long winded sigh and lifted his hand, rubbing his temples for a moment.
Thankfully he didn't have to wait much longer as the long awaited call finally came, the telephone ringing on the wall.
Getting up from his seated position, he quickly walked to the phone and pulled it out and brought it to his ear.
"Yes?" Alan asked and the response came almost instantly as the security man spoke on the other side of the phone line.
"The couple on the sixth floor has disagreed to meet, they do not trust anyone currently and the girl is utterly terrified, from what i heard from her voice over the line she was practically babbling her words, even if you did get her, all it would do would be hindering you all. Thankfully the girl on the on the third floor seemed to be doing well enough mentally and has also been convinced to group up together with you, however that isn't truly the problem." The man on the other side spoke, his voice clearly carrying some annoyance at whatever he had to deal with whilst talking with the couple on the sixth floor of the building.
"There's a problem? It's getting to the third floor isn't it." Alan muttered into the line as he released what felt like the hundredth sigh of the day.
"Correct, getting to the third floor will be a problem, I can't truly help you and I don't know whats going on in the fourth floor, the elevator however must not be used under any circumstances, just now whilst i was doing the calls, I noticed someone on the second floor walking towards it, it seemed they were still alive, however they have entered the elevator and when i saw the footage from the cameras on the first floor of the elevator doors opening… the man wasn't inside anymore. I don't know what happened inside of it however it is not safe to use. The only way for you to head to the third floor is through the emergency stairs… but that means you'll have to pass through the fourth floor which is a complete blind zone to me, and the cameras being broken likely means that there is something on that floor." The man spoke, his voice shaking slightly as he recounted what he had seen and the disappearance of the man from the second floor.
"I see… still, If we want to get anything done, I have to head to the third floor, and we have to start exploring the floors whether we want to or not. If we just stick around and do nothing, sooner or later those monsters will come and pick all of us apart one by one. Even if we manage to survive longer by not taking any risks, it would ultimately just lead to our downfall later down the line." Alan spoke, his voice firm on the matter, he knew that he could possibly take down one of the abominations alone however that was only with the element of surprise and only if those monsters only had the increased strength that the lady had showed, if they had any other abilities that he did not know about, the battle would get much messier.
For a moment, silence reigned on the call before a cough was heard and the man spoke once more.
"You're right. Whilst I would wish to come and get you all, I cannot at the moment, I'm still at the first floor and it isn't safe in the least… still if you do manage to get together and learn of a way to come here after finding some way to deal with the monsters, I'll be here to join you all. For the moment, I'll stay and be your eyes through the cameras in all the ways that I can be."
"That's already good enough… now then I'll start heading towards the third floor, I'll call you when I either arrive in the womans room or when I come back to my own apartment." Alan spoke before lifting the telephone and placing it inside of the tray once more.
Turning around towards the kitchen of the apartment, he walked towards it quickly and then quikly opened the drawers, finding just what he had been looking for. A knife, it had been a while since he had needed to use one however he still vividly remembered the makeshift spear that he had made before he had started buying weapons from the systems shop.
