Chapter 1 - Death and Life

Title: "Eternal Blood: The Last Vampire"

Chapter 1: The End and the Rebirth

Death wasn't supposed to be like this. It came cold, slow, and agonizing. My name was Arthur, and I lived 35 long years imprisoned in a hospital bed, unable to walk, unable to feel the warmth of the sun on my skin. My childhood faded into a distant echo. I was a burden to my family — rich, proud, and ashamed of my existence. They hid me away like a leper.

I never knew my parents' touch, never saw love in their eyes. Only doctors, nurses, and sterile white walls. My only "achievement" was a private hospital room paid for by the family's fortune, but empty of dignity, affection, or meaning. My parents, ashamed of my weakness, had a second child — healthy, perfect — and forgot about me.

And when my body finally failed me, I awoke in a white void. No floor, no sky. Just emptiness. And him.

A man with silver hair and golden eyes, radiating power, stood before me.

"Arthur," his voice echoed inside my very soul, "your suffering has not gone unseen. You are granted a second life."

He offered me worlds of fantasy — magical kingdoms, dragons, wizards, and monsters. But I refused.

"I want the real world," I said firmly. "I want to witness history's march. I want to walk under the sun, across the centuries."

God — or whatever that being was — smiled, intrigued.

"Then you shall return as the only vampire in existence," he declared. "Choose your era."

"Before Christ's crucifixion. 100 B.C.," I answered without hesitation. An age of empires, blood, and legend.

Before me appeared a glowing, translucent screen:

Even at level one, I was superior to mortals. And I would evolve.

I was reborn amidst the grandeur of the Roman Empire, walking through ancient ruins and nascent cities. Under the blazing sun, I strode with no fear — no glittering, ridiculous vampire myths. I was a predator, perfect and complete. I could feast like a human, drink blood when I chose.

Amidst the chaos of Rome's expansion, I found them: two orphaned children, filthy, starving, fleeing soldiers. I saved them. Not from mercy — but strategy.

They became the seeds of my legacy. Over centuries, I gathered followers — not vampires, for I was unique — but loyal mortals, seduced by the promise of power and protection.

Each generation, I selected the worthy and offered them the eternal question:

"Do you wish to be my descendant? To carry my blood and transcend mortality?"

Few accepted. Immortality is a heavy burden. But those two orphans — the first I saved — were different. To them alone, I entrusted my blood. They inherited my strength, longevity, and, above all, immunity to the sun — a privilege reserved for those who proved unwavering loyalty.

Others, mere blood servants, gained power, but never sunlight resistance. My filter. My safeguard.

Chapter 2: Centuries of Shadows

The centuries passed like whispers in the wind. Rome, Egypt, Greece — I walked among them all. I whispered secrets to generals, influenced kings, built an invisible web of power.

My followers prospered. Emperors, merchants, bankers — they shaped the world, hidden, under my command.

I evolved. Every battle, every decision, every status point invested — I neared godhood.

Time never touched me. History marched on. I observed, patient.

Chapter 3: The Modern Awakening

The year was 2025.

I awoke in a hidden chamber beneath a Dubai skyscraper. Desert heat pressed outside, but I felt nothing. I walked beneath the rising sun, untouched, invincible.

A group awaited me outside — men and women in flawless suits, reverent eyes. Descendants of those first followers, heirs to the ancient pact.

Unbeknownst to them, I was already the world's richest man. Centuries of silent control — businesses, banks, governments — all under my shadow.

The eldest, a respected magnate, bowed.

"My lord… is the world ready?"

I smiled, eyes on the golden skyline.

"The modern age is only the beginning. It's time to claim my throne."

Chapter 4: Blood of My Bloodline

Footsteps echoed across the marble. Two figures approached — predators in human form.

Daniel, my firstborn, towered in a sleek black suit. Dark hair slicked back, golden eyes ageless, carrying the weight of millennia. At his side, Selena, my daughter — raven-haired, pale as moonlight, feline grace in her stride.

"Father," Daniel greeted with a knowing smirk, "you finally chose to awaken."

"Took you long enough," Selena added, arms crossed, her gaze dissecting the mortals. "The world burns. Plagues, wars, collapsing empires… you'd love the chaos."

I stepped forward, eternity pulsing in my veins.

"The legacy," I asked, my voice steady, commanding. "Did you preserve it?"

Daniel nodded.

"We built empires. Manipulated markets. Crushed the weak. Protected the worthy. The world kneels, waiting for your command."

Selena's hand brushed my shoulder, eyes sharp.

"But… there's a threat. Something ancient. You need to see it."

My gaze hardened.

"Ancient? I am ancient."

Daniel's smile deepened.

"Which is why we woke you. History buried secrets — ones even you forgot."

I turned to the blazing skyline, breathing in the scent of sand and steel.

"Then let the world remember," I whispered. "The one who shapes history… rules from the shadows."
