Synopsis
Brakus grew up in the shadow of a fallen hero, harboring a secret about his father’s death that shattered his faith in the system. While society worships costumed icons, he lives by a cold, private conviction: “Capes aren’t necessary; they are only for show.” He doesn't fight for justice or the greater good—he only fights to protect his family. But a global Shadow Company is moving to reshape the world, and they’ve spent years tracking Brakus’s lineage. When they strike at his inner circle, Brakus is forced into a war he never wanted. He isn't out to save the city; he’s out to dismantle the people who touched his blood. In a world of manufactured miracles, he will prove that the most dangerous man isn't the one wearing a cape—it’s the one who only cares about the person standing next to him.

Chapter 1 - Who are you...Really? (Prologue)

Not all heroes wear capes, in reality they're completely unnecessary. "What kind of hero do you want to be?" is a sentence I am tired of hearing, everybody wants to test your convictions and ask useless questions which raises further questioning; but I just want to save the ones I love ,The world can burn for all I care as long as my loved ones make it. Costumes make me sick because they give away a hero or villain's true intentions and that's why I won't wear those unnecessary capes; I guess you could say the type of hero I want to be is a completely necessary one who is willing to do whatever it takes for his family. My name is Brakus Bronze and this is my story: the story of a necessary hero in a world of Unnecessary Capes.
