Chapter 23: Fuinjutsu Scroll

The Uchiha Clan has finally agreed to give the land beside the Senju Residence to the Uzumaki Clan for free.
They decided to divide it into two sections, one part for the Uzumaki Clan that reside on the west and the other for Uchiha-Uzumaki couples who wish to get married. This area will be known as the Otsutsuki Clan Residence.
Several widows have agreed to marry into the Uchiha Clan, along with a number of unmarried Uzumaki girls who are currently single and without partners.
After learning about this clan plan, many Uzumaki women also agreed to contribute to the clan's future.
Setsuna compiled a list of names and met with the Uchiha Clan leader and the elders.
Surprisingly, there are also many unmarried men within the Uchiha Clan. The gender ratio in the clan is currently 4:10 female to 6:10 male.
Because of this, 1 out of 10 people expressed joy when the clan leader announced that, due to the large number of widows and unmarried young girls left behind in the Uzumaki Clan, a marriage alliance would be formed. The Uchiha would marry them to strengthen both clans.
The new alliance will be known as the Otsutsuki Clan. Members can retain the Uchiha name, but their children will carry the new clan name.
The remaining single Uchihas were thrilled. With the gender imbalance making marriage difficult, they are now excited to have wives.
Because they are descendants of Kaguya, who was known for her exceptional beauty, the Uzumaki and Uchiha clans are considered very good-looking.
If physical appearance could be rated on a 10-star scale, the ugliest would be rated at 6 stars, the majority at around 8 stars, and a few even reaching 10 stars.
So overall, they were quite satisfied with their partners.
Many registered their marriages, which shocked the higher-ups in Konoha.

Raiken gathered three expert from Uzumaki Shinobi regarding Fuinjutsu, it is Kenshiro, Hiroki, and Arata.
"In our last meeting, we discussed opening a shop to sell scrolls," said Raiken. "But this time, I'd like to propose something that we can sell on our shops, it is modifying and creating new fuinjutsu."
Kenshiro rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
"Creating a new fuinjutsu is difficult, but not impossible. Raiken-sama, which jutsu do you intend to modify?" asked Kenshiro.
"The storage scroll," replied Raiken. "Our current scrolls are too large. If possible, I want to shrink the sealing scroll, what is currently a 3-meter scroll shrinked into a mini scroll that's just 15 centimeters long instead of 3 meter."
"Additionally, I want all of you to research healing fuinjutsu. We'll sell healing scrolls to other shinobi."
"Healing fuinjutsu?" they gasped at the unexpected suggestion.
"Yes. Our clan has never needed healing jutsu because we already know how to use the Mystical Palm Technique, and we possess the healing bite kekkei genkai," Raiken explained. "But majority of Shinobi in Konoha don't know about these abilities."
"What? I thought they—" Hiroki began, surprised.
"No," Raiken interrupted. "I've looked into it. Mystical Palm isn't easy to control. Only a few people can use it. In Konoha, talented shinobi don't want to become medical ninjas, so they separate the medics from the regular fighters."
The room fell silent. The three shinobi stared at Raiken, until finally, Kenshiro broke the silence.
"Clan leader, no wonder the former Uzukage chose you as his successor. You're ten steps ahead of everyone when it comes to planning," said Kenshiro with admiration.
"Alright, let's not get distracted. Let's focus on creating a new seal," Raiken said, trying to steer the conversation back on track.
"I think it's a great idea," said Arata. "Healing scrolls are definitely possible. The only reason our clan never made them is because we're already so good at healing."
The other two nodded in agreement.
"However, the scrolls we make must be single-use," Raiken said.
The three of them looked confused.
"Unlike storage scrolls, which can be used repeatedly, we need to develop a fuinjutsu that only works once. That way, customers will keep coming back," Raiken explained.
Suddenly, realization dawned on their faces, and their eyes widened.
"Right… I never thought about that," said Kenshiro.
"Our storage scrolls can be reused. A ninja just channels chakra into them to store items again," Arata added.
"Exactly. To ensure they keep buying healing scrolls from us, the fuinjutsu must vanish once it's used," said Raiken. "And I already have an idea how to make that happen."
The three of them smiled in anticipation.
"The Mystical Palm Technique works by channeling chakra to stimulate cells, speeding up healing. My idea is to create a fuinjutsu that stores chakra in a seal. When the scroll is applied to a wounded ninja, it will stimulate the cells. But once the seal is removed, the stored chakra will vanish—rendering the scroll useless," Raiken explained.
"Clan leader, we agree—you really are a genius," said Arata.

Arata, Kenshiro, and Hiroki were busy researching a new healing scroll. Raiken had instructed them to create three levels of healing. The first level would use basic mystical palm healing to treat minor wounds. The second level would carry more chakra, capable of healing deeper cuts. The third level would possess healing abilities comparable to the Uzumaki Clan Kekkei Genkai, Healing Bite.
Each scroll would be sold at a different price. The first one would be priced equivalent to one bowl of ramen—very cheap and easy to make, even by the children of the Uzumaki Clan who could infuse chakra into it. The second level would be sold at the price of ten bowls of ramen, and the final, most powerful scroll would be priced at a hundred bowls.
Within just a week, they successfully developed the fuinjutsu Raiken had requested.
While they were focused on their research, Raiken met with Lady Mito and his father-in-law to discuss the business side of things.
Raiken had managed to purchase and rent several shops, all of which would specialize in selling fuinjutsu scrolls.
