Chapter 34 - chapter 34 - Reconstruction

Mertiana looked in shock. "Take him back inside its time for the spirit storms to restart, I will continue this later." Usually considering that werewolves were creatures that moves in packs and were highly familial, these guys didn't seem to care as much about it now. It felt odd. I would probably have to beat their traditional rules back into them to build their strength back so they can protect Mertiana not that I trust Riot with her.

None of the other werewolves or vampires took a step ahead, instead they all slowly retreated back in but I knew they had their eyes on me. I too went to the cabin I woke up in. I closed up the door and instantly coughed blood onto my hands. Riot had dealt some serious damage to me. I could feel 3 broken ribs turned purple and a few more broken bones here and there. Luckily my gauntlets had managed to protect my fists for the most matter but the uncovered parts of my body had the skin torn off. The blood I threw up was pale and almost colourless. I'd realized that the more I strained the use of the envelope energy, the more air it used up. From an intensive study I made with a bunch of other people, I knew that what human's breathed in and made em alive was 'Oxygen' and the blood transported it to different parts of our body.

There was a certain protein in our that transports the oxygen itself as a carrier and that carrier was the main source of energy for envelope energy. The carrier was what gave blood its red color and since I'd depleted it, my blood turned almost colourless.

I was at the second stage of training my envelope energy where I had to reconstruct my entire body with the help of the envelope. In the first stage all I had to do was take in and circulate it inside to an extent where it reached every part in my body for common reinforcements. Now at the reconstruction stage my bones will be built from the broken down and rebuilt after which the blood flowing will have to be repumped inside the entirety of my system.

It's a completely destructive and rebuilding process which may or may not leave me on the edge of insanity ehehehe. Yea I was gonna end up fucking crazy but what other way for someone like me.

I slowly began to circulate my energy after cleaning up the blood I'd spat out. I spread out my energy to every corner and edge of my body after which with one swift movement I detonated all of it.

My body exploded and for a moment it was the most amount of pain I'd felt. I lost consciousness after that. The general sequence of events was that as my body exploded, the envelope energy which had turned into spikes from my core and spread apart, consolidated back to the core and with the laws of inertia in work, the core kept slowly circulating until it reached a point where it let out a wave of energy, all the furniture around flew away.

First from the core my body started reconstructing itself as my skin, tissues, bones, cartilage the entire bunch started being created layer by layer and the nerves connecting to each other and I had my conscious the entire time this was happening. The pain was almost unbearable and it was no mere mystery that I had managed to survive without losing focus.

By the end of this process, my entire body full top from bottom had been rebuilt to better circulate envelope energy. The flow was enhances and it flowed through the entirety of my blood as smooth as water. The only block was at my neck where envelope energy wasn't developed enough to completely circulate enough. I tried waking up but instantly fell to the ground on my chin which was very very painful. This new body was very sensitive but the place where I fell now had a strong crater over there so I guess my strength had increased as well. This new body felt as natural as the day I'd been born. It seemed to have retained my birthmarks on the places as it had before. My symbols of power had now risen to a grand total of 4.5 which was considerably way higher than those my age. My muscles were much more chiselled though what pissed me off was that my fucking height hadn't risen AT ALL.

I had removed my dress before circulating so went ahead to get them but they'd been ripped to shreds so I had to grab a new costume from the bags my father had packed up for me.

I wore a black shirt on the inside and a coat with the symbol of our Drachion Duchy on my chest. I fashioned a rock style pant which seemed to be 'trendy' according to my father though I can't say I hated it. I could feel the weight of power but unlike last time where I only had one brother, this time I had my entire family. I stepped out and realized the entirety of the place had reset once more but a small dome like structure had formed around the cabin where I was. It seemed that my energy had some effect on the spirits. This time I went to the border of the village once more and I conjured up energy. It was a much more refined blade of pure envelope energy which I then swung across the fog and like a miracle if so only for a moment it tore through until it rebuilt itself. This was an improvement.

Valiero came out of hiding and said the slash I'd just made had managed to cut through to the spirit world which means I still had a lot to discover about envelope energy itself. Magna still seemed to be not responding to my calls but the moment I'd made the cut I felt a small reconnection which confirmed my suspicions that whatever this fog was, it had managed to even sever my connection to Magna's dimension.

Now I had to go see Riot and Mertiana to clean up any bad blood between the entirety of us so I could protect my daughter whom I couldn't in my last life. As I went through the village, all the werewolves and vampires who had holed up inside slowly began to come out. I doubt they'd be planning up a gang attack on me but better safe than sorry. My gloves hung at my hips and I finally reached their cabin as I saw both Mertiana and Riot standing out.
