Chapter 3 - The Skeleton Warrior Emerges from the Garbage Dump

Suddenly, a classmate shouted, "Look, there's movement in the dark clouds!"

Everyone turned to look up.

A flicker of fire emerged from the dark clouds, floating and dancing in the air. It seemed that something else lurked among the flames.

A rattling sound echoed from the clouds, sending shivers through everyone's bones.

Finally, a sharp-eyed classmate spotted the source of the movement and fell to the ground in fright.

"It's a skeleton! Everything in those dark clouds is a skeleton!"

With his exclamation, the scene in the dark clouds became clear. Thousands of skeletons filled the sky, their skulls glowing with the eerie fire of souls.

The skeletons radiated a pale light, appearing both ferocious and terrifying. Though the students knew this was merely a vision, many felt fear and instinctively backed away.

One of the soul fires fell from the sky, landing directly on Lin Moyu.

In an instant, the visions vanished, returning everything to normal.

[Unique Hidden Occupation: Necromancer]

Not just a rare job, but a unique hidden profession—there was only one of its kind in the world.

Unless Lin Moyu were to perish, no one else could share his occupation.

Hidden jobs are even rarer than rare jobs, surpassing even legendary ones in scarcity.

While it remains uncertain how powerful it is, its uniqueness is undeniable.

"Lin Moyu is incredible! He's become a hidden profession, and it's the only one!"

"How could he be so lucky? Maybe the magic circle malfunctioned."

"Hidden occupations aren't always strong. History has shown many that weren't particularly good."

"True, true. Hidden jobs are just rare; they aren't guaranteed to be powerful."

"But that vision was terrifying. Does he have to deal with the dead all the time?"

"He hasn't said a word. Maybe it's just not a good time to talk about it."

After fully awakening to his new profession, Lin Moyu stepped down from the magic circle. Excitement bubbled within him about his unique hidden occupation, though he kept a composed expression.

"Wait a moment." As Lin Moyu passed by, Zhang Qian suddenly called out to him.

Turning around, Lin Moyu saluted respectfully. "What can I do for you, senior?"

It wasn't that he was mute; he simply preferred to speak less. He always maintained his manners.

Zhang Qian inquired, "Your occupation is a hidden one. Would you like to demonstrate a skill?"

Lin Moyu, not one to refuse, nodded. "Of course, senior. Just a moment."

He needed to familiarize himself with his new abilities and quickly checked his attributes.

[Name: Lin Moyu]

[Occupation: Necromancer (Unique)]

[Level: 1 (0.00%)]

[Power: 10]

[Agility: 10]

[Spirit: 20]

[Physique: 10]

[Equipment: None]

[Summon Space: 0/10]

[Skills: Soul Flame (Level 1), Summon Skeleton Warrior (Level 1)]

[Soul Flame (Level 1): Burns the target's soul, inflicting damage. The power depends on spiritual strength and skill level.]

[Summon Skeleton Warrior (Level 1): Summons a black iron-level skeleton warrior (skeletons are categorized as black iron, bronze, silver, gold, diamond, legendary, and god-level).]

With his attributes showing that spirit was his strongest trait, it aligned with the necromancer's role as a mage. The Soul Flame skill reinforced this notion.

However, the Summon Skeleton Warrior skill hinted at a summoner aspect.

Since the Soul Flame wasn't suitable for display, Lin Moyu opted to showcase the summoning skill.

As he activated the skill, a dark vortex swirled around him.

From the vortex, a skeleton warrior emerged, engulfed in soul fire.

Lin Moyu's spirit dropped from 20 to 10 points instantly, consuming half of his energy.

The black iron-level skeleton warrior appeared ragged, its bones gray and cracked, wielding a battered knife that looked like it had been salvaged from a junk pile.

It seemed as though this skeleton warrior had just crawled out of a garbage dump.

Lin Moyu took a moment to check the attributes of the skeleton warrior.

[Black Iron Skeleton Warrior]

[Strength: 15]

[Agility: 15]

[Spirit: 15]

[Physique: 15]

[Skill: None]

The attributes were well-balanced, lacking any significant strengths or weaknesses.

Without any skills, the skeleton warrior could only perform basic attacks.

When the skeleton warrior appeared, students gasped in surprise, instinctively stepping back.

People tend to fear the macabre, and only a few brave souls remained unmoved, like Gao Yang, who instead showed curiosity.

Zhang Qian's fingertips glowed as a breeze brushed past the skeleton warrior.

The warrior's eyes flared with red light, its soul fire dancing wildly as it turned to face Zhang Qian.

[Skeleton warrior is attacked. Would you like to fight back? (If no choice is made in ten seconds, it will automatically counterattack.)]

A piece of information flashed into Lin Moyu's mind, and he quickly commanded the skeleton warrior to hold its ground.

Zhang Qian chuckled, "You're very vigilant."
