Rayliegh felt uneasy as he walked through the school. He never liked big, quiet, empty spaces, but now it felt like there were strange beings all around him trying to drag him down.
"You all good, Ray? I understand how you feel. I don't like this either."
Rayliegh felt a little better. Alex was obsessed with horror; it could be movies, games, or books. He loves the stuff, so if he's nervous, then I know that I am not being unreasonable.
Rayliegh, I do need to tell you that you are going to have to be the one to ensure that the null entity is stopped. I will be able to help you. If you would like, I can take over your mind partly. This would also help us understand your power, but you need to understand that this is your decision to make. Rayligh had no idea what decision Uldess was talking about, but he was happy that he would help him.
"Do you guys hear that?"
They all stopped and listened.
"Can't you hear it, Ray?
Rayliegh suddenly felt cold, and then he heard whispering.
"How long till the null entity comes? Lord Migdranniun will not be happy if we take too long." "Relax, will you, Lord Migdranniun is stuck in limbo with the rest of the demon lords."
As Rayligh turned the corner, he saw two goblins guarding the door to the math classroom.
"What the hell are those things and why are they just standing there?"
"They are common foot goblins, and I am guessing that they are waiting for the null entity to escape Absole, so they try to capture it in a talisman."
"Why would they do that?"
"It is quite simple, Alex, they are most likely trying to get the energy that Rayliegh used to destroy Rita's concept."
Rayliegh was in a trance, looking at the foot goblins. They were not what he expected, they we tall, muscular, and handsome in an unnerving way.
"Why would they want my power, Uldess?"
"Well, Raylieg, I think they are trying to break the seal your father put on limbo, keeping the demon lords captive, and I think that either since your power is similar to your father's or it is stronger, it could release the seal. This is what I was nervous about."
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go kill them so Rayliegh can do the ritual."
Before Uldess could stop him, Alex rushed out, throwing his shield at one of the goblins. The Shield went straight at one of the goblins, and the shield hit him straight in the face.
"Come on!! The movies make it look so easy!"
As the injured goblin got to his feet, he screamed and started chanting. Monsters made up of shadows started to come out of nowhere and came straight at us. Uldless stepped in front of Alex and Rayliegh and set off a light spell, which got rid of them. He then ran at the goblins and decapitated them both with a single swing of his staff, which now had an axe head.
"That was dangerous, Alex, you can't go charging in like that. What we are doing is extremely dangerous."
"Dangerous how?"
"The null entity could appear at any moment and start attacking, and your mother would never forgive me."
Rayliegh was looking at Alex and Uldess fighting when he suddenly felt a change in the surrounding area.
"Uldess, I think that the null entity is coming."
Uldess turned away from Alex and walked into the maths classroom.
"Rayleigh, are you ready for this?"
Rayliegh was getting nervous, but he was determined.
"I am Uldess, let's do this."
"Very well, please stay still, I will help guide you."
Uldless put his hand on top of Rayliegh's head and started chanting. Rayleigh closed his eyes and took deep breaths, trying not to get nervous.[1]
"Rayliegh, open your eyes, you are going to need to make your decision. Are you going to restore Rita's concept or turn her into a true null entity?"
Rayleigh opened his eyes and saw that everything around him had turned into golden-looking gyroscopes. He turned to look at Alex, only to see that he was also gone and was replaced by a silhouette with one of the gyroscope things at the center.
"I see that I was able to help activate your power. Now you need to decide, are you going to save Rita, or fully destroy her concept?"
Rayleigh looked around but could not find where Uldess's voice was coming from.
"Where are you, Uldess, and what do you mean I need to decide?"
Rayligh heard some sort of scream and turned to face where he had destroyed Rita earlier that day.
"I am currently in spectral form, so you could so that I am everywhere. Now I know that you are confused about making this desicon but let me explain. If you were to return Rita's concept, we would need to wipe her memory and keep watch over her, due to the fact that she will have a trace amount of your energy left in her. The problem with this is that we lack the manpower to send someone to keep watch over her consistently. But if you were to turn her into a true null entity, she would become a great asset."
Rayleigh was conflicted. On one hand, he wanted to bring Rita back, even though she was annoying; he would feel bad, but he needs every advantage he could get.
"Alright, Uldess, I have decided I am going to turn her into a true null entity."
