Place: Throne Room of Asgard (Heavily Protected)
The Aesir and Vanir Gods of Asgard were planning how the fight would go. They didn't know much about their enemies' strength, but at least they knew their numbers: five. From what they understood, each of them was very powerful, about on Odin's peak strength level.
The plan was simple: Odin would take on one of them, while Hela and her army of death would take another. Cul (Odin's brother) and Balder would team up to handle a third. During this time, Loki would use his Stories Divinity to keep the Norns in check, while Asgard's armies remained on full alert.
The battle was scheduled to begin in two years. Odin's magic, which he had cast across Asgard to protect them from the Norns and Those Who Sit Above the Shadows, would only last for a maximum of two years. In the meantime, Loki would copy every god's divinities. Those who refused to let Loki copy them would be killed.
Just as they were finalizing the adjustments of the plan, they suddenly heard Loki yell:

Everyone turned toward him. Hela, seeing Loki's face full of surprise, asked:
"What happened, little brother?"

"Do not worry, Father. I will be strong enough at the end of two months, but I need a place where I can be alone. This is a delicate matter." Loki pressed. "So? Do you have a pocket dimension I can stay in, Father?"
Odin thought for a moment.
"I don't have any habitable pocket dimension for you. I gave the last one I created to Balder. If you can wait a few days, I can make another for you."
"Understood, Father. I can wait a few days. Besides, I need to visit Sif to relieve myself," Loki said.
Everyone nodded. Odin then instructed them all to rest for two months and not to do anything that would consume their divinity. They would need every bit of power to fight.
'Sigh. I was going to sacrifice myself to kill them all... but this works too. I can be with my family.' Odin thought. His original plan had been to sacrifice himself by detonating in the midst of them, taking them down with him. But now that his family had persuaded him to fight alongside them, he had changed his plans. 'I hope no one in my family dies in this fight.'
