With the last assassin gone, an oppressive silence fell over the ruins.

"You all seem tense," Kai said, smiling warmly.
He took a step, his sudden movement making everyone nervous.
"Full alert! Protect Hanzo-sama's retreat!" the ANBU captain roared, reaching for the chakra blade on his back.
Before he could draw it, a familiar voice echoed behind him.
"You know, if I wanted to kill you, you'd already be dead," Kai said, patting the captain's shoulder.
This nonchalant attitude made the captain tense.
He drew his chakra blade, infused it with chakra, and swung it at Kai's neck.
The close-range attack seemed unavoidable.
But Kai didn't even try to dodge or counter.
As the blade neared, lightning crackled.
Clang!
Lightning and blade collided. The immense force shattered the chakra blade.
Half the blade flew into the nearby ruins.
Seeing Kai standing unmoved, the captain's hands trembled.
"What's wrong? Do you all enjoy tickling me?"
Kai chuckled. "I'll give you a chance. All of you, come at once!"
