Dozens of figures attacked simultaneously. A storm of shuriken, launched with precise uniformity, converged into a torrential downpour aimed at Uchiha Kai.
Simultaneously, two Amegakure ANBU ninjas, utilizing Earth Release's subterranean movement techniques, appeared beside Hanzo, intent on rescuing him.
The sheer scale of the assault was breathtaking; dozens of ninjas attacking at once, a scene that could be considered a small-scale war in the ninja world.
Even Kosuke Maruboshi and the others' pupils constricted, their gazes fixated on Kai with a mixture of apprehension and anticipation.
However, before the eyes of all present, Kai abruptly raised his head, his smile deepening.

The incoming shuriken were instantly swept away. The ANBU ninjas, caught in mid-air with nowhere to escape, were directly engulfed by the raging lightning.
In an instant, a radius of several hundred meters was transformed into a thunderous inferno.
Witnessing this casual, devastating display of power, Kosuke Maruboshi and the others felt a thrill of both awe and terror. Each of them possessed considerable strength, yet none could bring themselves to intervene lightly.
It would require a death wish.
The torrential lightning raged for only a dozen seconds before abruptly dissipating.
When the last spark vanished, the Amegakure ANBU, enveloped in steam, lay scattered on the ground.
The only surprising aspect was that none were killed or even rendered unconscious.
"Why didn't you kill them?" Hanzo weakly asked, having been caught in the lightning, sensing something was amiss.
His words instantly tightened everyone's nerves, all eyes fixated on Kai.
As Hanzo had stated, something felt off. After all, Kai's famous battle had involved a single Lightning Release technique that instantly killed over a hundred people.
In that instant, Kai could have easily ended their lives. His inaction, therefore, was highly suspicious.
"Hanzo, you're a clever man, a demigod. I, however, am a god," Kai said, smiling and waving his hand dismissively.
Instantly, the bone spears piercing Hanzo's body were withdrawn.
Hanzo, now unsupported, collapsed to the ground, his gaze fixed on Kai with a mixture of shock and disbelief.
"Demigod? God?" Hanzo muttered to himself, his stubborn gaze fixed on Kai. "Are you planning to force my submission?"
This statement caused a dramatic shift in the expressions of Kosuke Maruboshi and the others, as well as the Akatsuki led by Nagato.
In their eyes, Amegakure was a second-tier military power, second only to the five great nations.
To Nagato and his comrades, Hanzo, the self-proclaimed demigod, was an untouchable figure.
Yet, here he was, being publicly offered a chance to surrender—a scene that was almost too unbelievable to comprehend.
"Hehe, Hanzo, you're indeed a clever man," Kai said, smiling. "But rest assured, I won't interfere with your rule. I simply wish to prevent Amegakure from descending into utter chaos. You have three minutes to consider. If your life expires, I'll have no choice but to use Edo Tensei and make you a puppet ruler."

Hanzo's expression drastically changed; he had witnessed firsthand the terrifying power of this forbidden technique.
After a moment of internal conflict, realizing the outcome would be the same regardless, he gritted his teeth and finally lowered his proud head.
"Hanzo submits to you!"
These simple words struck a deep chord within everyone present.
Unless they had witnessed it with their own eyes, no one would believe that Hanzo, the self-proclaimed demigod who had dominated the ninja world for decades, would ever surrender.
The surviving Amegakure ANBU hesitated, their expressions a mixture of shock and disbelief.
However, Hanzo quickly waved them silent. "Don't say anything. My mind is made up... cough, cough..."
A violent coughing fit erupted, large amounts of blood staining his chest.
Witnessing this, Kai gave Kimimaro a weary look. "Is that what you call a light touch?"
"Boss, you said to leave them alive, and I did..." Kimimaro replied impassively. As a war machine trained by the Kaguya clan, killing was far easier for him than healing.
"Fine, I'll heal them. You clean up the mess," Kai sighed, producing four scrolls which he casually tossed out.
Bang bang bang!
A series of sonic booms echoed as the four scrolls instantly transformed into intricate medical seals, descending like a vast net. The horrifying, gaping wounds were instantly enveloped.
Without pausing, Kai's hands moved with the speed of a spinning wheel, weaving seals.
As the final seal was completed, a boundless ocean of chakra surged forth like a tidal wave.
"Healing Resuscitation Regeneration Technique!"
The seals covering Hanzo's body pulsed to life, writhing frantically. A powerful life force rapidly spread outwards.
Everyone present was captivated by this scene. They knew of Uchiha Kai's astounding combat abilities, but his effortless mastery of medical ninjutsu was even more shocking.
"Isn't that the Healing Resuscitation Regeneration Technique? Not only does it heal injuries, but it also allows for rapid wound closure through a medium," Might Dai exclaimed, his voice filled with urgency.
"In Konoha Hospital, it requires several people to perform. He's doing it alone!"
"He truly is a monster," Kosuke Maruboshi added, his voice filled with awe and a hint of disbelief.
