The Yanga stood there, staring at the woodland rabbits, his mind racing with all the possible ways he could entice them to come with him.
These rabbits were nature spirits, born from heaven and earth. Though not fully grown and still developing their abilities, they possessed some of the sharpest senses of any creature.
Yanga knew one thing for sure there was no way he could use force to catch them. Even if their strength were less than his, it would be impossible nature itself protected them, and they could run incredibly fast. One perk of being a nature spirit was that the forest itself could hide them.
Yanga finding them was a miracle in itself. Even here in the woods, this cluster of trees sheltering a little rabbit heaven had likely gone unnoticed for over a decade. People would pass by without a glance, as nature has a way of concealing creatures that belong to it.
When the Yanga stepped in, the woodland rabbits spotted him instantly. They rose, eyes sharp, tracking his every move, ready to flee at the slightest sign of danger.
Yanga didn't have many options. The woodland rabbits meant too much to him not to take the risk, so he did. He drew in a deep breath to steady his racing thoughts the only method he knew to soothe the rabbits, he had to radiate calm, to become one with nature.
It was the greatest gamble of his long life.
When he sat down and calmed himself, the woodland rabbits took notice. Though still wary of his presence, they began to relax a little, their attention fixed on him just as his eyes never strayed from them.
With a flick of his fingers, two drops appeared in his hands milky drops of liquid spirit Qi. These were no ordinary drops thicker and denser than water, they formed a self-protective membrane by nature and tended to float rather than sink.
This was part of the plan. Woodland rabbits are curious beings. As nature spirits, they do not normally eat meat or plants but feed only on spiritual water, which is water that contains spirit Qi and from the plants they nurture, they feed on rare drops of spirit dew, and that's why the liquid spirit Qi caught their attention and cultivated them, and their eyes never moved from the drops.
With a flick, Yanga sent the liquid spirit Qi toward the rabbits. Startled, they tensed and backed up as if to flee, but upon catching sight of the strange gift, they froze, gazing at it before leaping forward to claim it.
After grabbing it, they started sniffing at it, then looked at Yanga, continued to sniff at it, and looked at Yanga before putting it in their mouth.
Seeing them finally eat the liquid spirit Qi, a smile appeared in Yanga's eyes, but not in his mouth. The smile didn't last long. Calm and absolute calm was what was needed right now, but deep down he knew his plan was working. He told himself, "All else left was to seize the opportunity and catch them."
After handing them the liquid spirit, two more drops formed in his hands. Without a moment's pause, he flicked them toward the woodland rabbits.
This time, the rabbits didn't hesitate they caught the drops and popped them into their mouths in one smooth motion. Both turned to Yanga, eyes full of expectation, and at that gaze, two more drops appeared in his hands.
This was one of the toughest things Yanga had ever faced. After diligently saving for six months, he was now spending all his liquid spirit Qi as if it were nothing, and each time he took out two, it pained him deeply.
For someone with a Boundless Saint Physique, liquid spirit Qi is crucial for cultivation. At the Meridian opening stage, the Boundless Saint Physique shows no flaws, but once it reaches the Spirit gathering stage, its shortcomings begin to surface.
In the meridian opening stage, all one needs to do is forge the body in preparation for cultivation by using spiritual herbs or spiritual plants to help open all the meridians in the body.
Once the twelve main meridians are fully opened, the next step is the spiritual gathering stage, where one begins spiritual movement and finally gains the ability to direct spiritual energy within their body.
By moving this energy inside themselves, they can influence the spiritual flow in the atmosphere, drawing it into their bodies and beginning the process of cultivation.
For someone with Boundless Saint Physique, their spiritual ocean is a thousand times larger than that of an ordinary person. Such a vast spiritual ocean needs equally large meridians, so from the moment Yanga steps onto the spiritual gathering stage, the boundless Saint physics flows will become visible.
He'll need more resources to cultivate than anyone else at the same stage, which is why he was saving all that liquid spirit Qi.
The Seedling world produces only one drop every ten days.
Yanga had managed to save 18 drops, though he'd already used 5 to boost his strength from 7 meridians to 10. That left him with 13, and after taking a four as if it were nothing, he was now faced with two Woodland rabbits watching him expectantly.
His heart twinged as two more drops formed in his hands. This time, he didn't send them toward the Woodland rabbits they hovered there while he sat still, breathing slow and steady, showing not the faintest hint of action.
The Woodland rabbits stared at the Liquid Spirit Qi with a mix of longing and hesitation. This silent standoff stretched on until, after what felt like 30 minutes, they eased forward slowly, at first taking a step, glancing at Yanga, then another, still watching him.
Yanga remained motionless, showing no sign of intent, simply holding two drops of Liquid Spirit Queue floating in his hands.
When they reached the halfway point, Yanga flicked the drops toward them. They caught and swallowed them instantly. Two more drops appeared in Yajanga's hands, bringing the total to eight.
His heart began to ache, but he pressed on. He was so close close enough that even if it cost him every last one of his liquid spirit QI to woodland rabbit in his possession, it would be worth it.
Seeing the new Liquid Spirit QI appear in Yanga's hands, the woodland rabbits grew a little braver. They began moving toward him, their pace quickening this time.
When they were just a few meters away, Yanga flicked the Liquid Spirit Qi toward them. They caught it and swallowed it in one swift motion. Instantly, two more drops materialized in his hands, bringing the total to ten.
This time, Yanga's heart ached deeply. Only three remained, but he pushed that feeling down. He had to stay calm, steady, and reveal no hint of intent.
He made no move at all nothing must go wrong with the rabbits now close, the Woodland rabbits hesitated again, but Yanga remained still, his gaze fixed on the liquid drops hovering in his hands.
Eventually, they began to edge closer, each step slow and heavy with hesitation and intense focus, watching for any sign of movement from Yanga. They drew nearer and nearer.
With one swift motion, so quick Yanga almost didn't notice, they snatched the two drops of Spirit Liquid from his hands and darted back a few meters, locking eyes with him before consuming them.
Soon after, two more drops appeared, and when the Woodland rabbits spotted them, they crept forward again. This time, their caution was nearly gone they'd already stolen once and figured they could get away with it again.
But as they reached close enough to touch, they froze in place and vanished. Yanga burst into a long, hearty laugh, collapsing onto his back, laughing like someone who'd just hit the jackpot.
After a hearty laugh, Yanga closed his eyes and sent his perception into the Seedling world.
It was still tiny, only about 10 meters in radius, but now it held five spirit herbs and two bewildered woodland rabbits searching for a way out.
Watching their antics, Yanga could only smile. Here in the Sealing World, escape was impossible. This was his domain, where he controlled everything, and nothing was beyond his reach.
After six months of studying the Sealing World, Yanga discovered two key truths it was a living and growing world, and it required two things to thrive Spirit Stones and Spirit Plants.
Planting more Spirit Plants expanded the world, which in turn produced more Spirit Qi, enhancing the plants' nurturing and helping them flourish.
As the plants grew, so did the world, creating an endless cycle.
That's one of the reasons Yanga risked it all to come to the Infinite Basin, hoping to find high-quality spirit plants or if lucky discover a Spirit Stone mine to harvest.
With enough Spirit Stones, the Seadling World could be fed and made stronger and larger.
Yanga stood up and stepped into the flower field cultivated by the Woodland Rabbits.
Having taken them in, he now had to gather all the flowers, Spirit Plants, and spirit herbs.
As he drew closer, something caught his attention, and his jaw dropped. It wasn't that he couldn't believe what he was seeing it was that what he was seeing shouldn't exist here.
In the center of the field stood a sapling that didn't belong, yet its presence explained everything.
From the moment Yanga encountered the Woodland Rabbits, he couldn't understand their presence. This land was unfit for their survival they should never have been here.
For Woodland Rabbits to appear, a place needed both great fortune and an extraordinarily pure concentration of spiritual Qi, and this place was entirely lacking.
The sapling explained it all, as a sapling of an Ancestor tree.
