Alpha Kendrick knew that he couldn't convince his people because no one had ever dared disobey his order because they're all scared of him, so there's no need to convince anyone.
"Alpha Kendrick, I have to get my clothes from Jerome's house."
"He must have burnt it all, I mean there's nothing expensive about your closet. Don't worry about your old shabby-looking dresses."
"Not old and definitely not shabby. I wore my dress with that painting, remember?" Rae disagreed with his words, reminding him how Alpha Kendrick was trying to know if she was sent as a whore to please the Alpha.
"Well, to be honest, you looked like a maid in that dress, but the dresses I selected for you make you look like a Queen. Luna herself." Alpha Kendrick made fun of her, still talking to the wine while Rae wasn't even done with her first round.
