Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

In autumn, the scenery of Shenxian Mountain is very beautiful, and the red leaves all over the mountain are pleasing to the eye.

There are occasionally some wild fruits to pick on the mountain, and there are pheasants and rabbits to catch, which is a place that nearby hunters like to come to.

In the bushes beside the stream, there was a rustling sound, and a young boy's head popped out from behind.

He was about twelve or thirteen years old, and looked quite handsome, but his skin was a little darker.

Probably because of the frequent hiking and hunting, although he is a little thin, he is actually very strong and his movements are agile and powerful.

The young man jumped up, holding two pheasants and a hare in one hand and a homemade wooden spear in the other, and landed steadily on the stone platform beside the grass.

It was obvious that he was born with great strength. Although there were two cuts on his legs caused by rocks and branches on the mountain, the young man did not take it seriously at all.

He often went up the mountain to hunt, so he was used to these minor injuries and they would heal in a few days.

It was almost noon and the boy was feeling a little hungry, so he cleaned a pheasant by a stream near the stone platform, brought it back to the stone platform, built a fire and roasted the pheasant.

The other pheasant and the hare will be taken home to my parents, and when my father is free, I can take them to the town to sell them and exchange them for some daily necessities.

The young boy was lying on the stone platform beside him with his legs crossed, chewing a piece of straw, looking at the clouds in the sky and thinking, it would be great if Sakura from across the street was here.

The pretty girl, with a delicate figure, would smile when she saw the young boy, and the two of them also liked to play together.

However, ever since the two of them were playing house once, the boy who played the groom half-seriously took the opportunity to kiss Sakura on the mouth, and was seen by Sakura's father.

Since then, Sakura's father has become wary of the boy and will not easily let the two of them play alone together.

What a sin!

Hey, what is that? The boy saw a black dot in the sky coming straight towards him.

The black dot was getting bigger and faster. He didn't have time to get up and dodge it.

It crashed into the stream next to him with a bang, splashing water all over the sky.

Oh my god, are there really immortals?

The boy had heard of the legend about Shenxian Mountain a long time ago.

It was said that two immortals dueled here, one was defeated and turned into the heroic spirit of Shenxian Mountain, and the other won and ascended to heaven.

Before leaving, he stabbed a fairy sword into Shenxian Mountain to suppress the

defeated heroic spirit and prevent it from resurrecting.

But legends are just legends after all. At least in the past hundred years, no one has talked about seeing gods here, so the boy certainly just listened to it as a story.

The water in the sky disappeared, and a gray shadow gradually floated up from the bottom of the water. The boy thought, I hope it's not a monster. He looked closer and saw that the back floated up first.

The clothes on the back were tattered, and some flesh could be seen. Then the head, with the hair scattered and floating on the water.

The young man was holding the wooden reed upside down in one hand, hesitating whether to attack or not, when he suddenly saw several large bubbles coming out of the black shadow's head.

He raised his head and choked on a few mouthfuls of water, but was too weak to struggle and had no strength to swim to the shore.

Well, this is obviously a person. If you say it is a normal person, probably not, who would fall from the sky.

If you say it is an immortal, it doesn't seem like it either, would an immortal be drowned in water?

But at least he is undoubtedly a weirdo.

Although the boy was not a good man, he was willing to do it. I don't ask for saving a life, but it is better than building a seven-story pagoda.

I just hope that next time when I play alone with Sakura, she won't chase me away.

Amitabha!

The young man held the wooden stick upside down, inserted it into the man's collar, and gently pulled the man towards him. Then he dragged the strange man to the stone platform and made him lean against it.

Then the young man ran to about ten feet away, squatted down and looked at the strange man.

The strange man was wearing clothes like a Taoist priest, but his appearance was really not good. He had a pointed face, a mustache, and his hair was disheveled.

His Taoist robe was torn in many places, as if he had been beaten with a whip or some other weapon.

He looked very miserable.

The strange man spat out another mouthful of water and finally recovered.

"Boy, you have courage. Meeting me today is enough for you to brag about for the rest of your life!"

The boy was confused.

Could this man be a fool?

"Hey, kid, why can't you speak? Are you intimidated by my majestic image?"

The weirdo stretched out his hand to stroke his moustache, but his finger touched a wound on his lip.

He was in so much pain that he grimaced without caring about his image.

The young man couldn't help but laugh.

This old Taoist is interesting!

"Old man, how did you fall from the sky?"
