Chapter 24 - Trapped Again

Selina strode towards her belongings and squatted down to retrieve a picture of her and her mother. With a piece of her dress, she wiped the dust off the small picture frame before carefully placing it into her duffel bag.

She organized the other items in a way that would make it easier for her to navigate the alley.

She swept her gaze across every corner of the house that once felt like a second home, filled with pleasant memories of her and her friends, was now a distant place she wouldn't be able to return to.

After a few minutes, Selina finished packing her items into the duffel bag and arranged the rest in her suitcase. Just as she was about to leave, she turned to face the elderly woman holding out a piece of paper.
