The little one immediately snuggled into Rachel's arms, his soft hair brushing against her chin.
"By the way, do you want to go to the amusement park this Sunday, Liam?" Rachel asked gently.
The child's eyes instantly lit up like tiny stars, and he nodded eagerly.
"How about I take Liam to the amusement park this weekend?" Rachel suggested, smiling.
"But wouldn't that be too much trouble for you?" Lauren asked, her voice carrying a hint of concern.
"Not at all! I've been wanting to spend more time with him," Rachel replied cheerfully. "Besides, Sister Lauren will be heading to Golden City soon, and it won't be as easy to see this little guy anymore."
She leaned closer, playfully booping Liam's nose. "Plus, on the weekend, Sister Lauren still has to go to the hospital for her follow-up. Auntie can take you there, and I'll take Liam to the amusement park. It's perfect!"
Lauren hesitated for a moment, then smiled softly. "Well… thank you so much."
