Selene~
"Your name and why you chose this show," the voice behind the curtain said.
I blinked at the camera, then at the curtain. For a second, I considered saying something stupid like, "My name is Byoncee and I came here for tax evasion," but I figured they wouldn't find it as funny as I did.
"My name is Selene Grey," I said instead. "I came here in hope for a fresh start."
No response.
Did they want something more?
Of course, I didn't come here completely of my own free will. But I did need a fresh start and that was one of the reasons I came here. After some minutes of waiting without a response, I stood up and exited the small room.
I returned to the lounge where Christopher was seated, he looked annoyed. Brittany was seated next to him, trying to make small talk. But she was the only one doing the talking. He didn't even look like he was the least bit interested in whatever she was saying.
"They didn't like my reason," a voice whispered in my ear.
