Chapter 1 - Blood Moon

The floor, covered in crimson blood slowly formed a puddle across the cold-stoned floor. Darkness remains abundant but the dim lights that lingered from a candlelight are able to disperse, enough to envision the room.

Silver silk strands are scattered around the scarlet red room, leading to an unconscious figure laying in the middle. Snow-like skin and captivating form, the girl eerily depicts a sleeping young princess from the stories.

Gaining conscious, the girl seems to found herself in an environment, alien to her.

Her smooth gentle hands touched the cold hard floor. Unfamiliar with her surroundings, she asked herself "Where... Am I?".

The voice of a female human, melodious and charming, jolted her, as if unused to her voice she once again asked herself "Was that... My voice?".

This room... Her eyes wandered, trying to figure out where she is. A stone-made table was arranged to her left, emitting a dim glow, supposed to be originating from an ignited candlelight, to her right was an empty glass bottle, the mouth is a cylindrical shaped while the body is spherical. The walls are made of stones, with wooden beams to support the structure, and a staircase, leading above a wooden trapdoor. To her deduction, she seems to be inside of a basement.

She exerted force towards both of her arms, wanting to take foot hold. But her fragile body betrays her action. Understanding her current situation, her gaze once again scanned the room. After noticing a puddle of blood on the floor, she immediately looked down, horrified.

The blood seems to originate from her burst rib, revealing her heart and organs.

" ...!" Terrified of what she have discovered, she once again tried to forcibly move her weakened hands, in an effort to close her opened body. But unexpectedly, her body seems to slowly return, her fractured ribs continuously move to it's rightful place, and in succession, the skin regenerated. After awhile, her body regained it's former appearance, a body of a beautiful young woman.

What... Such a thing was never an occurrence in the world she knew of. Just... Where am I? Droplets of water leaks above the basement, landing on the crimson puddle formed from her blood.

This amount of blood is enough to kill a person... How did I survived? Fragments of her past immediately rushed back to her.

I'll be off...

Why are you so useless?! Your documents aren't aligned with what I...

Don't worry, someday you'll...

Hey... Don't fall off the platform!...

Noo!

...

Take this potion... You'll gain a chance to...

How poor of human you are... I'm here...

Advance into a 'Witch'...

If I die...

Brother...

"...!" Memories came gushing into her mind, like river. I'm... Seth Polland, a male, son of a farmer and a deceased lady and the brother a loving sister, I lived with my family in 5 Daffodil Street, Tingen City. I encountered a mystical fate that gave me a chance to become a Beyonder, I advance through the path of divinity with the guidance of Madam Isabelle, becoming a Instigator... but ultimately failed in the process of advancement...

Seth Polland... Is this what they call transmigration? I was an accountant before... Working in a hostile company, my former name is Arman, but now... Her smooth silky hands gently reach her luscious face. I'm Seth, A beyonder who failed his advancement...

The thought of her transmigration instantly disoriented the beautiful girl. But my hand... body and arm... It's akin to woman's body.

Attempting to stand, she once again exerted force to both of her arms, successfully standing on her two bare feet.

The girl wore a tattered white shirt, loosely covering her silky white skin. Her pants immediately fall after her attempt to stand up. Her once short black hair, at least to her memory as Seth Polland took a silver hue, completely replacing it's former color, It have grown as well, along with the process of her advancement.

Shouldn't the Witch Potion only change a person's gender to that of a female? Why did it change my hair color as well? Was it caused by my lost of control?

Arman slowly approached the stone slab stairs. Her form became wobbly in each of her steps, until finally, she took hold of the stair's first slab.

A woman's body is really unusual for man, the legs are too slim, just one mistake and I would graze myself. Arman carefully climbed the stairs, placing one hand after the other in each level of slab she made. Arriving at the top, she gently pushed the trapdoor, hoping for it to be unlocked.

Heaving a sigh of relief, she slowly push open the trapdoor. Sigh... I'm relieved that is is unlocked, if it is I would have to shout or scathe myself trying to break it.

Arriving outside of the basement, she finally recognized her surrounding, as Seth's memory. The hallway emits crimson light seeping from the curtains of the windows. Behind her, leads to the basement and across from her is the living room, the hallway has 6 doors each leading to her family's room and the remaining others are for either guests or as storage rooms. The walls holds pictures of her with her father Justine Polland, her mother Christine Polland, and her sister Rain Polland. Each frame holds one to two of her family, some with her as their company and one picture that have her complete family etched in it, named in the lower-middle of the frame "Polland Family".

It truly is pity, that this loving family lost a loving child. Reminiscing the past of Seth, The corners of her eyes noticed the crimson light permitting through the green curtains.

Red? Curious, she slowly approached the glass window, outside was very blurry, maybe caused by the window's lack of maintenance. Arman decided to undo it's hinges, carefully opening the window.

The fresh wind blew the dancing green curtains, several houses and apartments, made of bricks and wooden beams, with roof tiles made of finely carved clay, with opulent mansions across the distance.

The moon hung high is the sky, but unlike the silver moon on Earth, this moon radiates a crimson red. Similar to a blood moon depicted in the novels..
