As Ozpin was raveling in sheer shock at how wrong he was about the Brother Gods, Glynda wasn't as fazed. She didn't understand what Ozpin was saying. However, she was staring intensely at Torrent. When I noticed this, Torrent trotted over and whinnied, shook his mane, and bowed his head down, asking for scratches. I watched as Glynda hesitantly scratched Torrent's head.
.
"You know," I spoke, ignoring Ozpin's descending madness, and gestured towards Torrent.
"He doesn't let anyone scratch him that easily. Hell, I could count on one hand how many people he trusts so easily."
"Really?" Glynda asked as she petted him. "He seems so nice."
"You should see him when he's mad," I chuckled, "He'll stomp anything in his way to death just to get to what upset him."
.
That got a rumble from Torrent as he turned his head towards me, easily glaring at me. I smiled and walked up to him and petted his flank. He knew that I was only telling the truth and playing with him. However, I still feel bad for the bandit he trampled to death, who knocked me off him. The poor bastard didn't deserve that bad of a death.
We chatted about little things about Remnant as Ozpin reset.

.
Finally, after an hour had passed, Ozpin came back to us. His feathers were still a bit ruffled; however, he dealt with it. What came next was about me being hired for a teaching position here at Beacon. It seemed that Ozpin wanted to understand more about me and the fact that I came from another realm, amongst other things. I had nowhere to go, so I accepted his offer.
When he told me what all came with the position, I was glad I accepted it. After everything was said and done, we left the chamber. Unbeknownst to us, the woman in the casket was changing. One that would rock the world of Remnant more than one Tarnished ever would.

.
"Are you sure this is what you want?" I asked Ozpin for what felt like the hundredth time that day.
"Yes," He sighed as he looked over his device called a 'Scroll'. "This year, some students got in due to their parents' pull. I wish for you to test them to see if they are fit to enter this school. Think of it as your first official class lesson."
"To beat up a bunch of kids?" I asked as I examined the team of four that was gearing up. "They're still wet behind the ears!"
"If that is how you say young and foolish," Ozpin spoke as he took a sip of his white tankard, which I was informed was called a mug, "Yes, that's exactly what I want you to do."
"Alright," I sighed, "I'll try not to kill them. No promises on that, though."
.
As I entered the arena, four teens stood on the opposite side. Their way of holding themselves screamed inexperienced. I sighed as I knew that this was a farce. Their posture, lax. Their demeanor, cocky. I already wanted to just crush them to get this over with.
Just as I entered the arena, I didn't bother drawing my sword or readying my shield. I walked out with a stern demeanor as I looked at them with stern eyes. Hell, I wasn't even wearing my Bloody Wolf armor, but my Bandit Garb. With a stick in my hands, I was ready for the beatdown that I was about to bring forth to these four wannabe Huntsmen trainees.
.
"Wait, what? YOU'RE our opponent?" The biggest and most cocky one spoke as I walked into the arena. "You look like a dirty vagrant, let alone a Huntsman! This is going to be easy."
"Look! He's even carrying a stick!" This time, one in green shouted. "How poor is he?!"
.
Around the arena, several people snickered or outright laughed at my appearance. I just ignored them and waited for Glynda to enter the arena. Soon, she entered and sighed, knowing that this was gonna be messy. As I took a stance, one hand behind my back and the other pointed forward in a fencing stance, I narrowed my eyes and waited for the match to begin.
.
"Now, the match between Team CRDL and Brass Wolf will begin soon!" She called out as she prepared the aura measuring machine, which I had none of. Once the machine was reading our auras, I tensed my muscles in preparation. "The match will begin... NOW!"
.
As soon as the match began, I rushed forward. The stick in my hand was acting like a Rapier. The sound of whistling wind could be heard as the first thrust struck cleanly into the chest of the biggest one. With great force, the teen was thrown back and out of the arena; his aura was in the red in one strike. The other three couldn't believe their eyes as they saw that the biggest one of them was thrown out and eliminated in one strike.
Two more quick strikes were all it took to send two more out of the arena. The fourth one, being completely reasonable, dropped his weapon and surrendered. Glynda sighed and called the end of the match, having expected this outcome. As she levitated the three unconscious members of team CRDL, she began to float them out of the arena while Wolf looked towards those who were in the arena seating.
.
"Rule #1: Never, ever, underestimate your opponent," I shouted to the crowd. "You do so, and you may find yourself in similar circumstances. Now then, classes officially start tomorrow, get a good night's sleep, and prepare. You WILL need it."
.
As I stepped out of the arena, I heard countless murmurs. Some were debating whether or not I was joking; others were scared shitless at how I took down three people with just a stick. A few were even talking about how they wondered what tomorrow would bring.
I just sighed as they had no idea.
