Chapter 32- Taking The Final Breathe.
AVA'S POV
I immediately raised my head, not because I was brave, but because I needed to be sure.
I needed to know if my ears just heard what I thought I heard.
"What… what do you mean, my Luna?" I asked, my voice barely making it out of my throat. "Please don't tell me it's what I'm thinking."
My brow arched without me even realizing it, and my voice was already shaking in fear.
She smiled.
That kind of smile that sends chills into your bones. The kind that doesn't need a knife to make you bleed.
"It's exactly what you're thinking, slave," she said coldly. "And I'm not going to let you walk out of this room alive."
She gave me a devilish smile. Her eyes weren't just filled with hatred—they were full of excitement, like she enjoyed the thought of ending me.
"I won't rest until I see that you're dead. Not passed out. Not unconscious. But dead."
