Noah's p.o.v
"Toby. Who was that?"
He couldn't have been vaguer with his question, but he saw her. She had to have seen him, but she didn't react. Is it all in his head? They are destined to end up together, right?
"Those guys? They are just Lucas's friends. Leo and Alex, they are both in the faculty of Health and Science. Although I think Leo truly despise my existence for some reason."
He has her name and the faculty she's in, now he can stop roaming the faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
"Lunch and dinner are on me."
"Wait. Why do you want to buy me food? Don't tell me, you need a favour?"
He laughed.
"No. It's nothing like that. I concede to fates existence, at this point she might as well just throw me in a den of lions to exclaim her point."
"I don't understand."
He tilts his head and he coo at how adorable that motion made him look. The moment his guard was down that curvy beauty made her way to his thoughts. Damn.
"Alex... I do not know how I feel about her. I spoke to her exactly three times and I am counting the nod of acknowledgment. That cannot be considered a coincidence, right? Once would have been a coincidence. Twice with the same level of interest might have been destiny. Somehow this time it was direr, my soul cried out to hers.
I still cannot get thoughts of her out of my head out of my head. Even when she's not around, I think about her.... Dammit I cannot get her out of mind, and I really tried. I have not felt anything like this for other girls at campus. I have to make her mine or else I will fall in the same rabbit hole you fell into. No offence."
"None taken. Noah. Alex is a really nice although she tends to be a tad offensive sometimes, I don't know Lucas told me to not take whatever she says to heart... I know you jump from one conquest to another but understand Alex is not that type you just fuck and dump man. If you just fascinated by your feelings, take into account said woman's feelings."
What type of man does Toby take him for? Yes, he has been with a lot of women but his not a dick. Sure, his track record might not be the cleanest but his been transparent with every woman he has been with past and present. He wants Alex and he will stop at nothing to get her.
"Toby. It turns out our next stop sells fried pork, what about I buy you that then you can tell me what you want later?"
"You cannot buy me with food but yeah. Do not forget my pink milk or if they do not have, apple juice."

"Lucas? What do you want here?"
Toby went to go take a shower about ten minutes ago and he usually takes thirty minutes because he just like the spray as ridiculous as that sounds. A knock sounded on the door; Noah went to open the door to see Toby's fated.
"Greetings to you too, Noah. I have a proposition for you. Toby has no idea of this that is why I trust this will stay between us. I want to spend time with my fated, get to know him and this not really vacation will give me the opportunity. Of course, this is your room and living space for the next four days, so I wanted to express my intentions."
"Which are?"
"I want to get to know my fated. You have to understand how the age gap scared me in the past, but fate gave me a chance to get back what I thought I lost. As I said, I am very honourable so I will do anything that he does not want."
He swears holding up three fingers and he laughs. Lucas is one of those golden boys who literally can do no wrong or a golden retriever. His vow was probably something he watched on one of the Chinese dramas, wait until Jayden catch wind of this.
"And pray tell. What is the proposition?"
"Haha, straight to the point. This is a key to the room the guys and I are going to stay in, I know it is not nearly-"
"Deal."
He did not have to finish whatever he was about to say before he grabbed the key card. Is he the worst friend, he is literally about to abandon his best friend just for a room key card? Yes.
"Good then."
Lucas handed him the key confused of why it was so easy. Wow, Noah got the key to the room. Fate has to be throwing them together. Now he had to find one way to her heart or at least her pants. He has a feeling, whatever his fated is, she belongs to him or so help him goddess. Fate does have a way of letting thing fall into place. Toby? He does not need to worry about his best friend since Jayden is coming as well. He informed Jayden about the move, and he will be here the whole week too helping out the engineering faculty.
"Oh. Are you sharing the room with Alex?"
"Yes, but she has her own room."
"Is she seeing anybody?"
"No." He stops to think about his next words, "why are you asking?"
"She happens to be my fated mate." He grabs his travel bag with just the basics to survive one week, "I want to get to know her better."
He winks at the Deucalion and turns to walk at the direction of his new home for four days. This was easier than he thought. Should he have warned Zi, sure but Jayden is the responsible one here. Jayde, he and Zippy are from Blue. Jayden and Zippy are distant relatives, that relationship has not been made public yet. They both gain from hiding their relation, he will make his poor boyfriend jealous enough to want to build a relationship. Toby is using their deal to get close to Lucas and his trying to speed fate along, his waited for the Deucalion for years.
"Fate is going to happen regardless, why fight it?"
