Chey came back and just said to Akira "Jeong Jeong wants to see you"
"Really? Cool, let's go" Aang said and got up.
"Not you, just him. He is very angry that I brought you here and that he won't teach you because you havent mastered earth and water yet"
"What? How does he knows that?" Aang asked.
"He saw you walking to the camp, he has an eye for such things" Chen said "white haired kid, come on now"
"Hey can you ask if he can teach me firebending?" Aang asked Akira.
"I can try" Akira said and followed Chey down to the small wooden house of Jeong Jeong.
"Go in, he is expecting you" Chey said and went away.
Akira entered the house and saw Jeong Jeong meditating,surrounded by candles.
"I really wasn't expecting you to travel with the avatar prince Akira. Did you already teach him forebending?" Jeong Jeong asked.
"No I refused, because of this he wants to meet another teacher, he is really subborn and has absolutely no restraint or discipline" Akira said and sat down in front of Jeong Jeong.
The old man also turned around and faced him.
"You did good, it would only bring harm to teach him the way of fire now" Jeong Jeong said and changed the subject all of a sudded.
"Iroh has decided to let you join the white Lotus. How much do you know of it?"
After collecting himself he answered truthfully "I only know it's an ancient secret organization working all around the world. Their members are very skilled grandmasters and experts in their fields and they exist to help to keep the world in balance and harmony. I also know that you, my dad, Piando and the earth king Bumi are one of the strongest members"
"You know a lot so you should know how this works" Jeong Jeong said and took out a box explaining the uses for each "This here is a page with all the secret codes of the organisation. Burn it after you are done learning them. This is a silver lotus badge and a Pai Cho set. Members of the white lotus recognise each other by playing this game with a special playing style and lastly this is the white lotus member uniform. Wear it in secret meetings when you are summoned"
"Woah this is so cool" Akira said looking at the robe.
"Alright, now that this is settled, take your friends and go to the northpole to let the avatar learn waterbending as fast as possible" Jeong Jeong said "master Pakku, a waterbender from there and a member of the white lotus can help you train the Avatar. Good luck"
"Thank you for everything but I doubt I'll be able to stop the Avatar from barging in here..." Akira said and Jeong Jeong just sighed "alright, send him to me and I'll deal with him" he said and Akira nodded, took the box and left the house.
"Aang, you can go to him" Akkra just said after he arrived at the house and Aang jumped up.
"Finally!" he cheered and ran out of the house.
"Aw man,come on let us sleep now" Sokka mumbled and went back to sleep.
Akira put the box with the white lotus things into his inventory for later use.
He then also went to sleep and prepared himself for the chaos the next day when avatar Roku tricked Jeong Jeong into teaching Aang.
It was a bit funy to watch Aang as he was shown the basic control techniques that had nothing to do with fire. While the others found it funny and stupid he understood the practices and it's use so he just watched and enjoyed the show while meditating and practicing his chi control.
After this day it finally happened, Jeong Jeong ran away to look why Zhao was here and left Aang alone with his burning leaf and was told to continue his practice.
He honestly didn't want to be hurt but Aang would need such an accident to take fire seriously and not like a ball of air that doesn't hurt anyone if used wrongly while learning because killing techniques are master level and impossible for beginners to perform...not with fire.
He watched as Aang finally created a ball of flames in his hands and lost control over it.
Instead of trying to regain control he recklessly threw it into the air and then created a ring of fire that burned Kataras hands.
"Argh" Katara screamed and held her hands in pain and started crying.
Sokka then tackled Aang and began beating him up in his anger but Akira ignored them and followed Katara who ran away.
He catched her in front of the river.
"Katara!" he said and gently took her hands.
She looked at him and showed him her badly burned hands, wincing in pain.
"Oh that looks painful" Akira said and guided her hands to the water "here, put them in the water"
Slowly her hands started to glow blue and her wounds healed.
"You have healing abilities" Jeong Jeong said and croutched beside them "the great benders from the water tribe sometimes have this ability. I always wished I had this ability, free from this burning curse"
"But you are a master firebender, you have powers I'll never know" Katara said.
"Yes but water heals, fire brings nothing but destruction and pain" Jeong Jeong said.
"That isn't true, fire is power yes but it also means energy and life, not just destruction" Akira said "let me show you something"
He then created a flame in his hand and changed it to iridescent fire, the fire of the dragons and launched it to the sky.
Jeong Jeongs eyes widened and he looked at it in awe.
"I never knew...I always thought that fire just meant destruction" he said.
"So beautiful" Katara said as the fire died down.
Then they were attacked with fireballs thrown from one of the ships of the fire nation that came down the river.
"Go take your friends and flee. Don't come back or else you will all get destroyed" Jeong Jeong said and turned to the ships.
Akira took Kataras hand and rushed back to the camp not noticing that Kazara was blushing furiously behind him.
They went back and saw how Sokka was already preparing to leave.
"Katara, are you alright?" he asked.
"Yes but where is Aang?" she asked and Sokka pointed to Jeong Jeongs house.
She ran down to go to get Aang. Akira didn't follow her, he didn't want to deal with this right now and helped Sokka prepare their luggage.
