"Do you think he doesn't know you?" I heard myself say before I could stop it.
My voice surprised me, but I was loud enough to make everyone pause. Mancini looked at me then, a disgusted expression on his face "
What did you say?" he asked.
"I said, Do you think you can decide on what happened?" I pressed on. "Do your men, does anyone here know that you are a god that will mess with anyone's life anytime you want? These men will beat Manny today, and tomorrow it will be them."
The men all looked at themselves. I could see in their eyes that I had planted a seed of doubt in their eyes. It was good. I hoped Mancini would wake up and find that he's alone and all his men and supporters were gone. He wouldn't think himself so powerful. He was doing everything he was doing because he had a lot of men, and they always moved around with him. No one could touch him without a fight.
