Mancini had taken me through the passageway, not knowing that I had been there before and had seen all I needed to see to suspect there was more that was hidden about our fathers. I pretended not to know the way when we were walking. I had thought of many reasons why he would bring me down there, but I couldn't imagine there was a bunker there. I hadn't seen it the first time I came. And worse, someone was being tortured in the Bunker. It could have been someone I knew.
When Lionel yanked the cloth from the man's head, everywhere fell silent. For the past few minutes that Mancini has tortured this person, I thought it was my brother. I thought it was my Dante. Everything happened right after he threatened me about Dante. So I had thought that Dante had been caught, and everything had led up to him being tortured in front of me.
