Mancini's POV
Her lips trembled when I spoke Dante's name. I caught the fear in her eyes. She thought she could hide it, but I saw everything. Always. She was planning something. Whatever it was, I didn't care.
"Come," I said.
She stuttered. "To-to w-where?"
I didn't reply to her. I started walking, knowing she wasn't crazy enough not to follow. I pushed my phone from my pocket and made a phone call.
"Lionel. Get the men together in the bunker. And bring him in. It's time we taught him a lesson."
Marie clutched her dress as if it were some shield that could protect her. Useless. I didn't wait for her to follow. I simply turned and walked out of the room.
She did follow.
I don't think I had led her to the bunker of the house before.
