Synopsis
*Important: this work is a fanfic of the novel She Was Both Called God, as Well as Satan, about the possible events that would occur after the end of the novel.* Helion was bored.Unbelievably bored. At first, being reincarnated in the future seemed like something exciting where there would be fights and discoveries everywhere, but this illusion quickly disappeared when he realized that everything that was possible to be discovered had already been discovered. To the point that humanity itself chose a slow death due to collective boredom rather than trying something different, which for them would be just a variation of something they had already done. And when he thought about finishing it all by himself, fate once again surprised him by offering him a possibility. The chance to discover new dimensions, new variations of the earth and the universe, new stories, new emotions. How could Helion resist that?

Chapter 1 - 1. Beginning 1

*Important: this work is a fanfic of the novel She Was Both Called God, as Well as Satan, about the possible events that would occur after the end of the novel.*

[Mars:

• In a laboratory in the middle of an island in the middle of a red sand desert.]

"So we're finally done!"

A young man asked seemingly out of nowhere.

[Finishing the final adjustments. Coordinates prepared, quantum leap stabilized, chance of failure 0.000001%]

"Well, and where are the coordinates programmed to?"

[Destination unknown, unable to anticipate arrival location based on current data]

'Well that's obvious, since this entire experiment was based on a fictional thesis.'

And yet here he was, about to accomplish a feat that had only ever happened in the realm of fiction; he, Helion, was about to create and pass through a portal to another dimension.

A dimension physically the same as Earth with breathable air, water and everything else. But with different territorial, historical and perhaps even biological conditions.

'After 4,000 years it's finally complete.'

He thought back over the past few years, since the beginning when he had by chance discovered the equations that postulated the dimensional leap. Apparently the author had created them for fun based on space-jumping technology.

This was shortly after he had been granted access to all the databases of the Human Federation, not because he had a high government position or anything like that, just because he was the last human to whom the permissions could go.

Over 100,000 years ago, humans had essentially been wiped out, not by themselves, not by cosmic chance, not by alien invasion or anything that had been speculated. The reason for their annihilation was simply boredom.

Humanity as a whole had achieved everything it had ever dreamed of, discovered the secrets of the cosmos, discovered how to become immortal, discovered how to live in peace with itself, with its creations, its world and its fellow beings in the universe (after all the "hostiles" had been extinct and human genes had "found a place among the rest").

After achieving all this, what was left for them? Some went into indolence, others transferred their consciousness to the cybernetic world, many improved what was still lacking in themselves. But in the end, there were no more great achievements to be achieved, only small and personal ones that were easily obtained.

Without much incentive to move forward in their lives, humans eventually opted to try to solve the only great universal mystery still in existence, what would come after death.

Many experiments were done with this premise, but the results were few, and much of what was considered ethical had been basically ignored. Of course, some, like the actor of the equations, still believed that there would still be other mysteries, but they were a minority.

Eventually, the lack of results after millennia caused many to ignore the last great mystery and instead decide to experiment with it. Until eventually only Helion, the AIs that took care of various things on Earth and the androids were left.

200 years after he became the last human alive, Helion really began to wonder if it wouldn't be better to simply close the coffin of one of the most powerful races in the universe.

But he firmly believed that the universe still had many unknown things yet to be discovered. This belief was not unfounded as he himself was one of those mysteries, a soul from the 21st century being transferred to a distant point in the future without any human interference as if it were the will of the universe itself.

That's why Helion couldn't let humanity destroy him. He was sure that the secret about other realities and perhaps even time was somehow hidden within him. Not that he intended to do any experiments on himself, but his own existence served as a point of conviction and anchor.

For a long time he was stuck in his conviction but couldn't do much other than trust himself, until chance decided to intervene. While Helion was researching any subject that interested him in the slightest, while watching one of the 21st century movies about superheroes and preparing the lunch he had just made, he ended up finding the speculative thesis of the existence of other dimensions.

Not as quantum fields where reality would only be perceived from a quantum point of view, but ones that could be visited and people could interact with the natives, worlds that were both similar and completely different.

Helion saw in this thesis the physical proof of the certainty of his beliefs, so the following years, centuries and even millennia, were spent experimenting and improving the equations. Always with the help of several AIs that without him would no longer have a reason to exist and could simply shut down just as humans did.
