CHAPTER 19
CHLOE'S POV
The week has gone by faster than the speed of light.
I'm done with Keith's outfit and I've started mine.
Keith and I have hung out together a lot and none of us have said anything about that kiss, but I've thought about it a lot.
When I say a lot, I mean A LOT!!!!!!!
Now, since it's Saturday, I'm currently on my bed, thinking about a certain someone and what he might be doing. He left over an hour ago, saying he had things to do.
And by 'certain someone', I mean Keith.
I've been wondering if he puts a lot of thought into the kiss we had or if it's just me.
Just then, my phone ringtone blasted, indicating a caller.
Nolan
I totally forgot about him!!!
"Hello"
"Hey, baby", he said.
"Don't call me that! What do you want?"
"I just wanted to know if you could go out with me"
"No"
"C'mon, please? I'm trying to make things right, please?"
Should I??
No
Do I want to??
No
But, I need to forget about the kiss.
"Okay"
"So, you're coming?"
"Yes, don't make me change my mind! Where do you want us to meet?"
" Don't worry about it, I'll come over and pick you up"
" Ok, see you in 30", I hung up.
I think I just made a bad decision!!!!!!
I dug through my wardrobe until I found a black jumpsuit, that I paired with my white sneakers. I let my hair down and I applied light make-up.
I stared at myself in my mirror and I looked good but I wasn't happy.
I head downstairs and grabbed a bottle of soda. I wasn't done chugging it down when I heard Nolan's car horn.
You can do this!!!!!!
I went outside and met him wearing blue jean pants and white t-shirt.
"Hi"
"Hey, you look gorgeous", he complimented but it doesn't sound right coming from him.
God, what did Keith do to me???!!!!!
"Don't push it, let's just go", I got into the car.
"Right", he got into the car and we zoomed off.

We arrived shortly after at a park, in the main town.
"Wow", I exclaimed looking around, the place is serene, calm and natural.
"Here", he led me to where a picnic blanket was already spread out.
There was also a picnic basket beside it.
"Don't tell me it's a date", I groaned.
" It is if you want it to be", he snaked his arms around my waist.
" Well... I don't want it to be", I removed his hands from my waist.
" Don't make me regret this", I added.
" I'm sorry, it's just that I miss you", he apologized while I was already sitting on the blanket.
" Whatever, I just want to eat", I pointed at the basket.
" Right. I can't forget how much you love food", he sat next to me and brought the basket in front of us.

"I also can't forget the time when we went to that restaurant and you were crying cos they didn't serve cookies", Nolan laughed at a memory of when we were still together but I didn't find it funny.
What kind of restaurant doesn't serve cookies???!!!!!!
"I still don't know why you're laughing", I pouted.
"You look cute", he said when he saw my face.
"Thanks, I can't say same about you"
"Don't be like that", he whispered as he raised my chin.
He kept staring at my lips and licking his.
Would it be ok to kiss him?
He leaned in closer and placed his lips on mine and I felt nothing.
No sparks.
No butterflies.
It just felt wrong.
I pulled back and turned my face away from him.
"That wasn't supposed to happen", I spoke.
"What do you mean? Are you dating Keith, cos I saw the video of both of you making out", he turned my face back to him.
" I'm not dating Keith and the kiss was something that happened based on a situation.You and I are done"
" I want us back together"
" And how would I be so sure you won't cheat again? You banged Hailey more than once!"
" The first time, I was drunk and I didn't know how to tell you it happened"
" Ok, how about the second time? And the third?"
" Maybe, they weren't mistakes but I wasn't the one that initiated the idea of being fuck buddies"
" She did and you agreed?"
" Cos I had needs"
" Needs?"
" Yeah and I regret my actions now. Please, come back to me"
" No"
" Be my girlfriend again"
" No, what we had, has gone down the drain"
" No, no..."
" Yes, it went down the drain, the moment I walked in on you sucking faces and banging my ex-best friend"
" I'm sorry, really really sorry"

"Jess, please, buy more ice creams?",I pleaded with my sister over the phone.
"Ok, I will"
"Thank you", I hung up.
I've been a mess since Nolan dropped me off.
Why did I let him kiss me in the first place??!!!
I just had a cold shower and now, I'm wearing some really short shorts and a pink crop top.
I've been pacing back and forth in the living room, rethinking my life decisions when I heard the doorbell.
I didn't even respond when the door flung open, with a tired-looking Keith walking in.
"Hi", was the only thing I could say.
I got lost staring at how hot he looked with his hair disheveled and his sleeves rolled up.
"Would you stop eye raping me? I know you couldn't stay away from this beautiful body", he smirked.
"I wasn't eye raping you"
Liar!!!!!!
"Anyways, I got you these", he came closer and handed a gift bag.
" Aww, thanks", I accepted it and looked inside but the boxes were wrapped.
" It's a surprise", he whispered in my ear.
" And I can see you want to seduce me", he bite my earlobe and my cheeks went CODE RED.
That was when I realized I was wearing revealing clothes.
" It's--it's not like that. I-I-I didn't know you were coming", I stuttered.
God, the guy will be the death of me!!!
" Ok, Forrest, I believe you but I would love it if you keep on wearing these kind of clothes when I'm around", he wrapped his hands around my waist and hugged me.
His hands grazing against my bare skin sent tingles all over my body.
"I missed your silliness", he said, nuzzling the crook of my neck.
Stop it, you flipping butterflies!!!!!!!
I missed you too, Keith.
But I won't say it.
