A New Kind of Enemy
The following night, Jiwoon walked Harin to a hidden safehouse.
She was weak, but alive.
"What now?" she asked.
"Now I figure out what I've become," Jiwoon said.
But before he could finish, the sky cracked with black lightning.
[SYSTEM ALERT: A Reaper has been deployed]
The air turned cold. A figure emerged from thin air — tall, expressionless, wearing a mask marked with the system's emblem.
"Hunter Han Jiwoon," it said.
"You have violated the balance."
The Reaper Attacks
Without hesitation, the Reaper raised its blade — a weapon forged from condensed Sin Points.
Jiwoon blocked the first strike with his armored gauntlet — sparks flew.
The force was unlike anything he'd fought before.
"This isn't a Sin Beast… This thing's built to kill me."
He struck back using Echo Pulse, but the Reaper didn't flinch.
Instead, it copied the move — Mirror Execution Activated — and hit him with his own technique.
Jiwoon flew back into a wall, coughing blood.

The red eye on Jiwoon's chest opened wide. His armor shifted — darker, sharper — and shadows wrapped around him like a second skin.
"You want a reaper?" he growled.
"Fine. Let me show you the wrath of the damned."
Jiwoon charged, his fists burning black with Corrupted Flame, and struck the Reaper square in the core.
The mask cracked.
"You… were not in the algorithm," the Reaper whispered before vanishing.
System Status: Fractured
"Threat Level: Unstable."
"Hunter Jiwoon must be reset."
"Deploying Reaper 02…"
