Izuku Midoriya revealed his feelings to Kitty Pryde, and the two were actually hanging out in the mansion on Genosha whenever one of their teachers came in, walking into the living room and changing the TV to properly see what was going on over in New York City. It was being attacked.
With that being said, the X-Men immediately sprang into action. They wanted to go and head in to save anyone they could. Albeit even just one life, they were going to do it, along with The Avengers and many other heroes in New York City, stepping up to fight. Izuku Midoriya actually wanted to head in and help them, to aid the X-Men in their fight. However, he was told to stay here.
That was roughly eight to nine hours ago, and it is very early in the morning right now. The X-Men are still out there fighting. It is currently unknown exactly what is happening in New York City at this time. However, that portal is still open, and as far as Midoriya knows, it is only getting bigger and bigger. So the X-Men have been fighting nonstop, and at this point, from what he's been hearing on the news, it's beginning to get a whole lot worse. The attacks are spreading outside of New York City, and in Pennsylvania, they've been reporting on what's going on.
Midoriya decides to make a decision. While everyone else is paying attention to the TV and actually trying to keep up on who's alive, Midoriya decides to sneak outside the house. However, somebody does actually catch him going out there. Midoriya walks outside and immediately takes to the air. However, somebody calls his name. He turns around and sees who it is — it's his friend, Kitty, his now girlfriend.
"Exactly where are you going?" she asks.
Midoriya looks away and tries to use his telepathic abilities, trying to see if he can even reach that far. Midoriya looks in the direction of New York and tries to focus, focusing, focusing. He's able to see something at least, telling her that the situation is a lot worse than they thought, and he's going to try and help. "I can't sit by any longer. I thought about just flying off and going after them, hiding in the plane, but I tried to listen. I thought they can get it done swiftly and quickly. However, I'm not standing by any longer!"
She actually understands where Midoriya is coming from and tells him that if he's going to go out there, "Find their family and keep their friends alive!" She also explains to Midoriya, as he floats in front of her, that if he can do anything, "Do it!" Before she actually gives Midoriya a powerful kiss. Midoriya begins to glow with his energy, however, instead of his eyes pouring with black energy, the energy is beginning to turn red. Midoriya turns in the direction and begins to fly, accelerating at high speeds, before he suddenly picks up speed and goes even faster.
Now, Genosha does actually acknowledge this, and Magneto is contemplating sending out more troops. The number of mutants he set out already should have been enough to help them. These forces, however, are significantly stronger than they had predicted. So if he does send out more people, then what would that mean? He might need to get involved himself. However, he doesn't want to leave this place unprotected, even though the mutants here are trained to fight, most of them don't want to. They won't fight whenever push comes to shove. However, if the aliens reach this part of the planet, then they would only be doomed. So he's making the decision, and he orders more people to head out there, including his three children: Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, and Polaris.
Now, with that, Midoriya is flying at high speeds, trying to get to New York. And I do want to say that he does get there in a good amount of time. If I had to calculate how fast Midoriya would be... Africa, the coast of Africa to New York, that's actually not as far as I thought it would be. Anyway, he does get there, even if he's traveling at his maximum speed. Everything he's got, he can get there within 10 to 12 minutes. Midoriya's power, The Sentry's power, he could get there within less than a second. However, Midoriya is not yet reaching those levels of strength, and he actually surprises himself when he arrives in the city and looks at what's going on.
A whole heap of things are happening. People with quirks in the city are trying to fight back, along with pro heroes going against everybody they can. People are retreating and evacuating. At the same time, Midoriya sees what happens next whenever one of these giant alien creatures tries flying out at Midoriya and tries to swallow them whole. Somebody actually comes in and throws something at the creature. It hits the creature across the face, causing it to fly down towards its right, smashing into a building. As the weapon that was thrown stops in mid-air before getting pulled back, somebody wraps their hand around it as they grab it. As they begin to simply swing the hammer, looking on at this young boy, telling him that he should not be here, and he should really get away. Midoriya looks at him, surprised.
Midoriya says that he's here to help, and Thor goes on explaining that the boy can't help him here. "Get out of here now!"
But Midoriya gets enraged and tells him that he came here to save his friends, before he goes to fly down. Thor looks at what this boy can do, surprised. Aliens are flying all across the streets and running throughout the city. Midoriya begins to blast away at them and quickly takes down a large number of them, clearing a city block with relative ease. He's blasting away and using his tendrils in different directions. While Midoriya blasts in one direction with one hand, his other hand works as five different limbs, swatting away and taking down various people.
Thor is actually somewhat surprised at Midoriya. He does actually see one of those giant creatures coming straight for him once again, and Thor does somewhat intervene. As Midoriya actually looks at this thing before he just begins to run forwards directly at it, and he goes to jump up into the air, cocking back his hand and summing up as much strength as he can, smashing the creature directly in the face. Thor watches as the creature gets hit off to the left. Midoriya grabs the side of its body and begins to try to push against it, before he throws it over his head. He turns around, going to throw out his tendrils. As Midoriya does, he simply begins to grab it, wrapping around it and swinging it around, destroying more and more of the troops that are flying around in the air. As Midoriya, he flies upwards and goes to throw this giant creature into another giant creature.
Now, Thor is absolutely shocked by what's going on. As we do have on comms, somebody asks exactly what is going on, and if Thor is the one causing all those shockwaves. To which he does say that Tony Stark is wrong. "It is not him. It is a..." He then asks if it was Hulk, to which somebody says, "Nay."
Now, this is whenever Tony Stark is flying around, and he's already changed into a new suit of armor as he tries to help more and more people, talk to anyone he can, and get people out of here. People are still trapped in subway tunnels that have collapsed, and some are hiding out in buildings, so they need to be aware of the need to escape.
Midoriya actually begins to use his powers as he tries to manipulate shadows all around him, before he pulls as many things in the air as he can, ripping the shadows from different buildings and throwing them all up into large spikes. As Thor watches Midoriya begin to take on the alien forces, Thor thinks that this young boy and Hulk might be able to handle it. He actually begins to go and try to save people while Midoriya is trying to fight.
Midoriya is also trying to find the X-Men, including Charles, Colossus, and Wolverine, and anyone else he can locate. Midoriya is using his telepathic abilities and looking through different buildings. He's finding that there might be people in these buildings, so he flies in and tries to save as many of them as he can, taking out these alien threats as he flies through a different wall and begins to head into another one, doing the same thing.
Eventually, he finds himself on a city block that's mostly collapsed, and he begins to try to look around as he hears some thoughts coming from, well, a collapsed building. Midoriya zooms over and begins to pick up the rubble, throwing it to the side as he finds someone now. He was able to feel their thoughts, not read them, as he does find Wolverine, who does actually begin to sit up and somewhat just try and pop his neck, talking about how that was not fun.
"Why the hell is he here?" Wolverine asks, seeing Midoriya.
Midoriya tries to explain quickly, before he actually sees another one of those alien invaders. He looks off in that direction as his eyes begin to glow with red power. He doesn't need his vision as he simply just stares down his opponents, these beams flying from his eyes. And Wolverine is surprised. Midoriya cuts through one of these giant creatures once again as it falls down onto the ground.
Now Midoriya does ask, "Where is everyone else? He needs to make sure they're all safe." Before Wolverine tries to get in contact with everyone on his comms. Charles is a bit angry that Midoriya is here, however, with the constant reinforcements and mutants that have been thrown into the situation, Midoriya might be a bit of a saving grace. As he actually does telepathically try and respond to Tony Stark and many of the other Avengers.
Now Tony Stark is surprised to learn that a kid is here to help and is already actually doing very well. Before Midoriya, he does try and explain himself, surprising Tony Stark. "The kid's also a telepath? Mutants get weirder every single day!"
Now, with that, he does try to explain his plan. He needs to find whoever opened the portal and take them out. As Midoriya is trying to talk, he's simply just fighting off as many opponents as he can, and asking Tony Stark if he has any ideas as to how.
Now, this is where Tony Stark is trying to explain to Charles, and well, it's quite easy: "There might be a device keeping the portal open, however, they just simply need to find it, and the person responsible for it. You would be quite surprised as to who it is, since they are the brother of Thor."
Now, with that being said, this does catch Midoriya for a loop, trying to ask Thor, "Why is his brother evil?" Thor was not really responding, simply just saying the words after a few seconds that he's been like that since they were sinful children, also stating that he was adopted. Now, that's quite surprising.
As somewhere around an hour passes by, Midoriya and many more of the heavy hitters in Marvel, or at least mid-tier at this point, are fighting all around the city. And Midoriya is eventually able to find Colossus and Jean Grey, along with Emma Frost and Cyclops, and many more of the X-Men. Now, Midoriya is beginning to get tired, and it is somewhat apparent. All the enemies Midoriya has been fighting have been able to get off potshots at Midoriya and slowly begin to wear him down. Midoriya's shirt is actually somewhat damaged; it is burned, scorched, and somewhat torn in certain areas. However, his body appears to be in good physical condition, aside from a few scratches and bruises. Now, this is quite interesting, and Midoriya continues to fight.
Now, with all this happening, something bad occurs. Tony Stark makes a remark that he should not have made, stating that the kid might be the strongest person he's ever seen, considering what he has seen this young boy do. Now, the Hulk finds that to be somewhat stupid and wrong. "Hulk is strongest! Hulk is the strongest there is!"
Now, whenever Midoriya is actually fighting, he is going to grab one of these giant things that are flying straight towards him. Midoriya holds it up with his hands and is able to catch it as his feet slide against the ground. And this thing is trying to bite away at Midoriya. He simply throws it back with force, pushing away at it and trying to get his footing. Now, as it actually happens, Midoriya is able to bring it to a stop before he tries to swing it over his shoulder as hard as he can. Now, Midoriya has massive amounts of stamina to pull from, but he's tiring himself out. He's been fighting for almost two hours straight, plus the amount of power it took him to get here and try and find everyone is wearing him down.
Now, this is when he actually just turned around, hearing something fastly approaching him, as he's punched across the face and sent flying through a couple buildings, before he goes to shake his head off and find that he's bleeding as he looks down at his chest before grabbing his lip and getting back up to try and see what just hit him. As it was, the Incredible Hulk, or the savage Hulk that we all know.
Now, Hulk talks about how the puny boy is not stronger than him. "Hulk is strongest! Hulk is strong as there is, and he will prove it!"
But they are trying to, well, do something that no one should ever try and do: bargain with the Hulk. Now, Midoriya is swiftly surprised, and the Hulk does go to rush him once again. And simply Midoriya, he raises his hands, and the Hulk throws his fist straight at Midoriya, as the shockwave they create brings down the building around them. And Hulk throws out another punch. Midoriya is actually struggling to hold back the Hulk's power. As he goes to push back, his hands begin to glow with energy, as Midoriya tells the Hulk he's not here to fight him, he's here to help. The Hulk is still screaming at him, "Hulk is strongest! Hulk is strongest!" Midoriya gets annoyed as he blasts the Hulk directly in the face with his beams. This sends the Hulk flying out of the building. As Midoriya does take a few steps out, his body begins to pull with that power once again. It is seeping out of him, and Midoriya, he does actually bring up his hands and pull shadows out of nowhere. He pulls them from the buildings that are left around them and from the people flying overhead. Now, he simply grabs them and immediately absorbs them within his hands, before throwing them directly at the Hulk. This is wrapping him up in chains. As Midoriya, he does rush forward. The moment he does, he stops in front of the Hulk and tries to calm him down.
Now, the Hulk is not having any of this, and he's trying to fight against Midoriya's restraints. Now, Midoriya can understand this, and Charles is telling him not to fight the Hulk. "Just get away from him! Get away from that monster!" Now, Midoriya tries to calm the Hulk down further, ignoring everybody's advice, including Tony's attempt to tell him to stop. "Once the Hulk has his mind set on something, there is no stopping him. There's only getting away in time!"
Now, Midoriya, still not listening, as the Hulk does eventually break through Midoriya's chains and punch him across the face once more. This sends Midoriya flying, and he actually smashes into one of those giant creatures as he was sent straight through that single punch. Midoriya, flying through it, smashes into another building, and the top part of that building, or the rest of it, collapses. Now, Midoriya gets up and quickly goes to grab the building. Now, he doesn't know if there are people inside it, but he's not going to let that thing land on the ground.
Now, the moment he does grab it, he holds it up, and he begins to struggle with his power. As something in the back of his head is trying to tell him to let his rage consume him simply. "Let him get angrier! Get angrier! Get angrier!" Now, Midoriya is trying to ignore this. He doesn't know what that is.
Now, he actually does use his telepathic abilities, and there's nobody on top of this building. There are a few aliens, but even then, everybody's already evacuated. And Midoriya does actually hear something coming at him before he suddenly swings the building to his left, allowing him to hit the Hulk with it. As he then sends the building back down directly on top of some alien forces, before he actually goes to spin. And he actually does begin to try to tap into his power as Midoriya's body undergoes a physical change. Midoriya's body is shrouded in darkness, along with the red power he's now beginning to display.
Now, the Hulk gets back up and talks about how this puny man is having or giving the Hulk some fun. "Hulk enjoys this fight! Hulk will crush the tiny man!"
Midoriya gets angry as he goes to fly in this time at higher speeds than previously shown, and he punches the Hulk in the stomach with both of his hands. The energies instantly ram him through building after building. Now, with that, we actually do have Thor, who was confused by what is happening. Now, he watches as this boy and the Hulk begin to go back and forth. And we actually have Hawkeye and Black Widow watching these two powerhouses begin to go back and forth. "The boy literally just picked the Hulk up off his feet and threw him through a couple of buildings!" they commented on, "How strong is that kid?" Before the Hulk throws up his hands and throws them down into Midoriya's back. This slams him down back towards the ground, smashing through a 10-story building as Midoriya collapses on top of him. Before he phases straight through it, coming back up into the air, and looking around, trying to find the Hulk. Before he does that, he spins around the Hulk, who leaped at him. Midoriya goes to counter his fist. As soon as Midoriya actually does go to do that, he and the Hulk collide, and the ongoing shockwave shakes the city and actually surprises everyone, including Tony Stark.
Now, they are eventually able to seal off the portal and take out whoever opened it. Now, with that, Midoriya and Hulk are still fighting, and the alien forces still present on Earth are still here. Now Midoriya and the Hulk begin to go back and forth, as we have the Hulk, who is getting angrier, and Midoriya, who is also doing the exact same. Now, within Midoriya's head, he can hear something, something just telling him and screaming at him, "Just keep fighting! Keep going!" And that he's having fun. Midoriya, who's actually smiling as the Hulk throws out a fist. Midoriya brings his hand up and catching it as a shockwave just forms behind him, and Midoriya's feet do begin to crack into the ground. Midoriya, who's struggling to hold back the Hulk's hand, immediately goes to push it backwards. This surprises the Hulk. Midoriya brings up his right hand and punches him as hard as he can with it. As everybody just saw, Midoriya punched the Hulk across the jaw. Before Midoriya moved at blinding speeds, he was able to catch the Hulk in the air and immediately began to punch him, punching him over and over again in the gut at insane levels of speed, before he went to punch the Hulk again. Using his tendrils, as soon as he opens his hand and grabs the Hulk in mid-air, swinging him over his head before he actually just yanks him towards him as hard as he can, punching with that very same hand and just doing the same over and over again.
Now, Midoriya is essentially performing a yo-yo move with the Hulk, and the Hulk is attempting to counter an attack as he grows stronger. And Midoriya does something that would shock everyone. Whenever the Hulk comes back towards him, Midoriya grabs him by the throat and punches him across the face once more, as the sound wave surprises everybody. And the Hulk does actually punch Midoriya in the face as well. This sends the two of them flying apart from each other. Midoriya is smashing down into another building as he stands up and flies back in. As soon as the Hulk actually does this, or the Hulk does land, he goes to get back up, running in and going to leap. As soon as the two do get close enough, the Hulk goes for a thunder clap, and Midoriya does actually see that happen as his body turns into pure darkness. The Hulk with thunder clapping, and Midoriya moving straight through it, getting close enough, he does actually go to swipe away the Hulk, him swiping at the Hulk's face.
Now, Midoriya punches him directly in the face, before using his left hand to throw out a powerful blast, which blasts all the debris directly into the ground. Before Midoriya he uses his other hand and just continues to blast. Now, anyone who can even see it doesn't believe their eyes. Midoriya uses his eye beams instead of just blasting away at the Hulk. Now, eventually, Midoriya is tearing into the Hulk at too much, too much power, and he's letting loose far too much, before Charles Xavier tries to get into the young boy's mind once again. Now, Midoriya actually forces Charles out, and he goes to fight. Now, he does rush in and smash directly into the Hulk's body, just pounding away at him over and over again with pure strength in his fist, punching him over and over and over.
Now, with this, this is one of Midoriya's actions, beginning to witness something. The Hulk, dazed and confused as Midoriya is still punishing him, he begins to revert down to a lesser form, before Midoriya, who's breathing heavily, actually goes to bring up his fists to punch down. However, he does actually notice something: while he was punching him, the big green hulking man turned into a smaller version of himself. He reverted back to Bruce Banner, and Midoriya was quite surprised, as he almost brought his fist down to hit him. As he actually does get up to move back onto his feet, backing up and falling backward onto his rear, before he begins to move backward and power down.
Now, you can clearly see all the damage Midoriya has done to himself. Midoriya's torso is bleeding heavily, his eyes are bleeding, his ears are bleeding, and even his nose and his face is messed up, bruised, bleeding, and just... damn. You would not have thought this kid just fought the Hulk, even if he was a human.
Now, with that, it is quite surprising to understand this, and Midoriya, he actually does get to meet The Avengers, including Dr. Banner whenever he does wake up, being quite surprised to hear about this kid and how he fought the Incredible Hulk. Now, with that, Tony Stark does actually congratulate the kid, not only on helping to stop his first alien invasion, but also on beating a heavy hitter in Marvel, or the strongest Avenger. Thor is trying to argue this.
Now, with that being said, everybody does go back to Genosha. However, as soon as Midoriya arrives, everybody is surprised, or Midoriya is surprised to see everybody. As he's bandaged up and somewhat bruised, he's also grounded by his parents.
