Lyra's POV

I sighed as I squatted in a rough grace, glaring at the hooded old lady. "Enough of your scheming ways, old hag. Give me the money you owe me!"

She laughed, hiding the nervousness in her every fiber of being. "Lyra, you don't need to rush a poor old frail woman like me, don't ya? Oh I know!" Her face brightened as she pulled out her arcana cards. "Why won't I read your fortune to compensate, eh?"

"Like I give a fuck about that! You swindled me and the rest of the drunks at the bar! Now, pay up or I will make sure to rip those cards apart!"

The fortune teller lady panicked as she quickly drew a card and immediately said, "My services are not that cheap, Lyra! And this might help you in the f-future! F-For instance, this card showed that right now, you practically gave up searching for someone that you care for! L-Like a lover, a friend, or a family! Y-Yeah, maybe a family you've never met before!"
