The sunset is always beautiful.
Reddish pink sky turning slowly into a dark hue of blue, clouds spreading out as stars twinkle in the sky. Meanwhile, I sat on a chest, in front of cave entrance with a two blocks tall cobblestone wall around me. Wanna know something cool?
I just learned that you can pick up chests in this Minecraft world, so that made storage space when mining infinitely more convenient. Currently, I have two double chests full of goodies.
One was full of raw ores, some redstone, lapiz, and diamonds, while the other was full of blocks. Cobblestone, deepslate, you name it. As for why I'm surrounded by walls... well, the mob situation is sticky.
With a shake of my head, I stood atop the chest, only to duck immediately. Suddenly, dozens of arrows whizzed past where my head was. Yup. I was surrounded by possibly two dozen skeletons. Not just them. Zombies, Creepers, and Spiders were out there too.
I don't know what happened. I didn't bring a clock, since I always ignored redstone before. I didn't know how many days I spent underground—but the mobs just kept spawning for some reason.
That's what I assume, anyway. Thankfully, the spiders are easy to take care of.
They came in one by one, climbing up the walls. Stabbing them to death is easy enough, and since the dead bodies of mobs rapidly turn into white smoke, they don't pile up.
Now, all that's left to do is wait.
When the dark sky started brightening, I got up and stretched my limbs. Sleep? Oh, sleep is nice, but I can skip multiple days of sleep. In fact, if I ignore the phantoms that spawn, I can theoretically never sleep.
Still, sleeping helps me recover from mental exhaustion. Not to mention, a way to remind myself I'm still human. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any villagers yet... I'm hoping they can talk like me.
I chuckled at the idea. After all, even without the villagers, I have the shinobi world to worry about. I'm sure I'll have plenty of conversation with the killers there.
After creating the second portal and learning only one portal can be active at a time, and the Nether was not available, I was a bit downcast. But thinking about it again, I can make it work to my favor.
If the ninjas in the shinobi world can crossover to my Minecraft world, I have to prepare defenses. Needless to say, defending multiple portals is trickier than only defending one.
If my understanding of ninjas aren't wrong, to use their jutsu, specifically that one where they move from one place to another in an instance, they need to know where they're moving. So, I got the idea of encasing the entire portal in some box made of several layers of stone.
If they can teleport out of the box, then, well, I say several blocks deep pools of lava over a large area would do some damage. I also plan on gathering an army of mobs to plant around an even bigger area.
That way, I can at least delay them.
If even after all that, and it's pointless... well, what else can I do? I can only blame my insufficient knowledge.
Shaking my head, I headed back home, double chests in tow, my body shining in brand new diamond armor.
