Chapter 25 - Chapter 25 {Proposed}

Zyan watched as Leticia dragged Amelia away, his heart heavy with a mix of emotions. He looked down at the hairpiece in his hand, the one that held the key to unlocking the truth about his family.

With trembling hands, he carefully placed the hairpiece into a small plastic bag, sealing it tightly. He knew he needed to get it tested, to confirm what his eyes were already telling him.

As he stood there, lost in thought, a sudden gust of wind blew through the street. The scent of lavender and vanilla filled his nostrils, a fragrance that was strangely familiar.

He turned around, hoping to catch a glimpse of Leticia again, but she was already gone.

When Zyan returned his second son was a doctor he threw a bag at him.

"Dad what is it? Did you find our sister Amelia?" Carter asked.

"Haha Amelia…doesn't want this family we are poor in her eyes and she is a Princeton Daughter."

"What!? Than this hair is?"

"The daughter the Princeton raised it seems when your mother give birth their was a switch by accident."

"Don't worry dad within an hour I will know if this girl is your daughter," Carter said. Zyan did not want to tell his wife until it was confirmed.

An hour later, Carter burst into the living room, his face pale and his eyes wide.

"It's true, Dad," he said, his voice shaking.

"The DNA test came back positive. That girl... she's our sister."

Zyan felt like the world had tilted on its axis. He sank onto the couch, burying his face in his hands.

"How could this happen?" he whispered.

"How could they take our daughter and raise her as their own?"

Carter sat down beside him, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"We'll get her back, Dad," he said firmly.

"We'll prove that she belongs with us."

Zyan nodded slowly, a determined look settling on his face.

"Yes," he agreed.

"We will."

Just then, the front door opened and Zyan's wife walked in, a puzzled expression on her face.

"What's going on?" she asked.

"Why do you both look so serious?" The woman was extremely beautiful her name is Charlotte. She grabbed her husband ear.

"Speak did you find our daughter Amelia!"

"Amelia is not our biological daughter and she doesn't want us she found her biological family the Princeton Household," Zyan said. Charlotte frowned and then she looked at her husband who held a magazine out that showed Leticia.

"Doesn't she look like you when you were a teen? Her name is Leticia she is our biological daughter," Zyan said.

"Yeah mom! That's my sister!" Carter said. Charlotte hand trembled as she stared at the photo of her biological daughter.

"Mom when you give birth to our sister the nurse mixes up the tubs name and we took back Amelia and the Princeton took Leticia, so it's accidental switch."

Charlotte was so excited she hugged the magazine this her daughter!

Charlotte hugged the magazine tightly, tears streaming down her face. She couldn't believe it after all these years, she had finally found her lost daughter.

"Leticia," she whispered, tracing the girl's face with trembling fingers.

"We have to bring her home," she said, turning to Zyan and Carter with a fierce determination in her eyes.

"I don't care what it takes. I won't lose her again."

Zyan nodded solemnly, his heart aching for the daughter he never knew he had.

"We'll do whatever it takes," he promised.

Carter pulled out his phone, already dialing a number.

"I'm calling my contacts at the Princeton estate," he said.

"I'll find out everything we need to know about Leticia and how to get close to her."

Charlotte smiled gratefully at her son before turning back to the photo of Leticia.

"Soon, sweetheart," she murmured.

"Soon you'll be home where you belong."

Meanwhile, at the Princeton estate, Leticia sat in her room, staring out the window with a distant look in her eyes. She couldn't shake the feeling that something had changed, that her life was on the verge of taking a dramatic turn.

At night Morgan clenched her jaw why would the crown prince ask to meet Amelia but her precious daughter is not ready yet. Ha this is annoying.

"Call Leticia here," Morgan said as she sighed. Leticia walked inside the office.

"Mother I heard that I must attend an important appointment as Amelia," Leticia said indifferently.

"Yes it seems his highness the ninth prince wishes to see his fiancée tomorrow," Morgan said. Leticia sighed as she frowned three days ago Amelia made a mess and the blame fall on Leticia shoulder this is annoying so tiring.

"Be mindful of your words."

"Yes mother."

"I shall take my…"

"Come to think of it you have become so well behaved lately. Have you finally understood your place."

Leticia smirked.

"I don't does she not know her own standings always cleaning after her mess," Leticia said.

"What?"

"I mean your precious real daughter. Isn't she the one who doesn't know where she stands?" Leticia said as she put her hand on her lips.

"Leticia how dare you!"

"What? I know what I can do and can't do," Leticia said with a cold smirk.

The next day

Leticia was sitting inside the fancy car as she looked out the window she wore a red dress as she touched her gloves her lips formed a frown. As expected disappearing on the day of engagement is the answer. After all Leonardo would around her most of the time so it would be hard for others to get near her. After the engagement day when Leonardo sends her off that will be the day she disappears from sight with no trance to be found.

Leticia saw Leonardo who stood outside the car and the car door open and took Leticia had. His golden hair, and his beautiful golden silver eyes. He pulled Leticia closer to him. Leonardo smiled.

"Have you been well?" Leonardo asked. Leticia smiled brightly trying to act like Amelia.

"Yes your highness," Leticia said ever so happily.

"Have you had breakfast?" Leonardo asked.

"Yes."

"They said they would have fresh flowers aren't we lucky," Leonardo said as he pulled out her chair.

"Thank you your highness ninth Prince," Leticia said indifferently. Leonardo knelt down as he took Leticia hand.

"I planned to propose to you when we finished school not just high school but college, though I didn't expect to propose to you so soon you are the girl of my dreams, Letty, my little blue moon, my crimson flower, Leticia, it's not I wish not be to wed to you, I want to protect you, I want to show you a beautiful world I want to show that it's a beautiful place in the world I want to hide you from the darkness," Leonardo said. Leticia turned her face.

"I…"

"I have something for you, it's not an official engagement ring but it would do for now, consider this a token of promise to protect you," Leonardo said.

"Leo I am sorry I…can't…"

"Don't apologize baby, I don't want you to have a hard time," Leonardo said with bright smile. She couldn't be cruel and destroy the smile. After that Leonardo did not force her. We eat and talked some what.
