Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 Gold Box

Late at night, Danny was fiddling with a radio, and Levis was writing his daily diary in the study.

Meanwhile, on the West Coast, in Tony's oceanfront Villa in Malibu, Los Angeles.

Amidst the dynamic music, Tony was working up a sweat.

"Sir, that diary has been updated."

Amidst the crackling sounds, Tony dropped the welding torch in his hand and said unhappily, "What, Pepper hasn't gotten rid of that thing yet?"

That diary was absolutely the most annoying thing Tony had ever seen in his life; just thinking about it reminded Tony of last night's unpleasantness.

"Looks like I should get a new assistant!" Tonygrumbled, expressing his dissatisfaction with Pepper.

"Sir, do you need me to inform Miss Pepper to recruit a new assistant?"

Tony rolled his eyes and ignored Jarvis.

It's just a program, though very intelligent, but can you expect it to understand humor? Tony could only comfort himself this way, after all, this was an existence he regarded as his own son.

"Come on, let me hear what this bastard wrote today?" Tony continued to tinker with the masterpiece in front of him, a vintage supercar.

"October 12, 2007, this is my second day here, and my first daytime. The weather is still clear."

"How to put it, perhaps this is also a major characteristic of the United States, homeless people everywhere."

"Of course, I don't discriminate against homeless people, because I made friends with a homeless person today."

"I won't say his name, who knows, maybe this guy will get rich someday."

Tony couldn't help but laugh when he heard this: "This guy must be dreaming. If homeless people can get rich, then haven't I, Tony, been wasting my time all these years!"

"He's truly a nonsensical fellow!" Tony said disdainfully, "He wants to trick me with this, and kidnapping? Who are you trying to scare?!"

"But it's anyone's guess when this guy will get rich; he might even end up in jail."

"So, people, you must rely on yourselves. To get rich, you have to find the right path."

"Stark Industries will definitely make a fortune then. But now, I must first get the capital; without capital, I can only watch others earn."

Tony's brows furrowed again upon hearing this, and he even put down his work, saying unhappily, "This bastard is even coveting Stark Industries' shares!"

Although Tony didn't believe the diary's nonsense at all, he was still very annoyed by the words in the diary.

"Jarvis, contact Pepper." Tony didn't want to be annoyed by the diary anymore; he wanted to deal with this thing now.

"Tony, what's up?"

"Pepper, why didn't you throw that thing away?" Tony directly questioned.

"Tony, I don't think there's any need to make such a fuss, it's just a prank." Pepper's voice sounded a bit helpless.

"Ha, a prank?" Tony said angrily, "Do you know this thing inexplicably updated again today? This prank is really quite powerful!"

"Alright." Pepper was silent for a moment, then replied, "I think this might not be a prank. I asked Jarvis last night, it's truly magical, isn't it?"

"What, you think this is magical? Do you think this is some kind of magical magic or sorcery?" Tonysaid sarcastically, "Hmm, just like Merlin's magic!"

Pepper could tell that Tony was really resistant to this thing, but thinking of the diary's magic, Peppercontinued to persuade him, "Tony… perhaps, what it says inside…"

Pepper's words were cut off abruptly by Tony, who then changed the subject, saying, "Alright, since you're so persistent, Pepper, I agree to let you keep it, but you have to do something for me?"

Pepper had no idea of Tony's ulterior motives; she just heard him compromise and breathed a sigh of relief, saying, "Tony, what do you want me to do?"

"It's simple." Tony looked at his beloved sports car, which was being modified, and smiled, "Cancel next week's board meeting for me."

"Oh God!" Pepper couldn't help but let out a low cry. She knew things weren't that simple; Tonywas simply a bastard, and she shouldn't have agreed to him, no promises at all!

"Tony, next week's meeting…"

"It's important, right?" Tony quickly interrupted Pepper and continued to pressure her, "I've heard that countless times. What, you can't even handle such a small matter?"

There was an exciting stunt car show in New Yorknext week that Tony had been looking forward to for a long time. He heard that one of the U.S.'s most famous stunt car performers would also be appearing! Tony was a seasoned motorcycle enthusiast, how could he miss such a good thing!

As for the show time conflicting with the board meeting, what did that have to do with him? How could a board meeting be more important than his own happiness!

"Of course, Pepper, you can actually attend for me, it's the same!"

After a moment of silence, Tony offered a compromise, and he thought this decision was simply perfect, so he said without room for discussion, "Pepper, it's decided. You'll attend next week's meeting for me. Congratulations, bye bye!"

The call was cut off directly, Pepper didn't even have a chance to refuse.

My gaze returned to New York.

Levis naturally didn't know that Tony had heavily scammed Pepper using the diary; he was currently drawing a lottery.

Ding!

The first column appeared, it was a number, a 5.

Ding!

The second column, still a number, 5.

Levis's mouth twitched. This was too much Water! Yesterday it was 50, today it's 5, a tenfold difference!

Only one left, Levis heard his heart thumping.

Ding!

Third column, treasure chest! And it was a gold chest!

The dazzling golden light was so bright it hurt his eyes; it was hard for Levis to mistake it.

"I actually drew a gold chest!" Levis was extremely excited and punched the air fiercely.

With a bang, he hit the table.

Danny next door shouted loudly towards the study, "Is something wrong, Neo?!"

"Cough, cough, cough, nothing, I accidentally bumped it!" Levis rubbed the back of his hand hard, enduring the pain and answering calmly.

After dealing with Danny, Levis re-immersed himself in the lottery.

The dazzling golden light even made Levis feel that his hand didn't hurt as much.

"Open the box!"

Having had the previous experience, Levis just thought about it, and a golden light immediately flashed in his mind.

The gold chest lid slowly opened, and a golden light orb jumped out.

Golden!

Levis's spirits lifted greatly. Last time it was blue, this time it was directly golden. With his many years of gaming experience, he could tell at a glance it was a high-grade item.

But Levis waited for a while, and the golden light orb still didn't disappear.

"What's going on?" Levis was a little confused. Last time the light disappeared. Is it different because gold is higher grade?

Thinking of this, Levis tentatively reached out to touch it.

As soon as his hand touched the golden light orb, the light orb instantly melted like liquid and drilled into Levis's finger.

Buzz!

Levis's body shook, and a stream of information surged into his mind.

This was actually a talent!
