Chapter 2 - Reborn And Leaving

As she woke up from her deep slumber with the sweet chirping of a bird by her window, she got up and headed for the restroom to wash her face. She turned on the water and using her hands to fetch some she washed her face.

As the water spilled down her face, memories of

different events flashed through her mind. It felt more like she was remembering her past or rather said; her future, some of the memories felt familiar while some quite unfamiliar to her present situation which drifted her head into a spinning headache.

She splashed the water on her face again the second time without and hesitation, taking her hair back she grabbed a hand towel to wipe of the water on her face.

She came out of her room and climbed down into the living room where her father and sister were seated with the cold morning breeze sailing in through the opened sliding wall made of glass.

Her father ' Robert Stone ', was the Beta of the Silver Summit Pack in which they resided. While the leadership of the pack had already been transferred to Dexter Finn who's ancient bloodline has erupted the Alpha's of the pack for the past few centuries, his father George Finn was old and decided to retire giving him the responsibility of the pack. Her father was sitting on the soft white sofa comfortably reading his newspapers.

Her father had always had a knack for getting intrigued by the activities going on outside. He usually had the daily newspapers of the city brought over to him by his buddy who seemed to be residing there.

"Morning dad" she said as she got down.

"Morning child" he replied her with a smile as he raised his focus from the newspaper he was reading to her. " How was your night " he asked her.

" Good. " she replied. She went to the dinning room to get some cold water from the fridge before climbing back the stairs to her room again completely ignoring Isla who was on her phone with her earpiece plugged in her ear.

She got to her room and took off her pajamas before going to the bathroom to take her bath. She stepped into the bathtub and fully engulfed herself in the warm water bath she had prepared. She closed her eyes as she began to run thoughts in her mind.

She just woke up a few days ago to find out she was reborn, her memories were not fully completely with her but she usually remembered them when she has been to the places in memory. She was now very cautious about her stepsister and stepmother, this two had been the biggest regret in her life and now she was not going to make the same mistake of trusting them again. Just too bad for her father who was already bewitched by their pretence.

After soaking in the water for about ten minutes, she stepped out and grabbed her bathrobe. As she went to wardrobe to pick a dress to wear, she heard a knock on the door.

"Hey Paisley it's me" the person said.

Paisley recognized the voice to be Isla's. She frowned her face but nevertheless came out only revealing half of herself through the door. " What's wrong she asked " as she opened the door.

The expression of unwanted disturbance vividly present on Paisley's face gave Isla a disorganized feeling. " Ohh sis I was wondering if you could lend me a dress, I have a date with Dexter and I can't seem to have the perfect dress to put on" she said with soft calm tone.

"Sorry, you should know I hate sharing dresses with someone, it feels like letting someone invade my privacy " Paisley replied with a clean and calm expression.

Isla was down spirited and surprised after hearing what Paisley said. She however hid it with a smile, the truth was that she actually wanted to tease Paisley with the fact that she was now with her ex. However Paisley's calm expression seemed to make her feel defeated.

" Ok, guess I'll have to go shopping this morning, sorry for bothering you so early this morning sis" she said as she left and Paisley shut the door.

" This bitch " Paisley cursed as she shut the door. This wasn't the first time Isla had tried borrowing her clothes. In the past she would easily agree and lend out her clothes, but since this girl had taken her good for granted even to the extent to having her killed, she was now being more cautious dealing with the fox.

Luckily the Almighty had spared her life and had given her a second chance, she swore to take her revenge at the dew time, however this bitch was lucky that she wouldn't be here for the now.

She walked over to the wardrobe and picked a black minidress with a dazzling bright lace as a belt, holding a white handbag in a cross section way, she walked out of her room downstairs with her already packed backpack.

" Paisley dear, you're going somewhere this early, and with your backpack packed up, don't tell me you're traveling to the human realm so early" Paisley's stepmother said.

" She's spending the next few months with her uncle, he's picking her up today " Her father replied her stepmother.

"Ohh, at least you should have your breakfast before leaving " her stepmother said again trying to be a caring mother in front of her.

Paisley was already infuriated by the pretence of the woman before her, the two mother and daughter were in cahoots to get rid of her but still were pretending to show kindness towards her.

" Don't worry ma, I wouldn't want to waste time and I'll definitely find something to eat there." she replied.

Her stepmother nodded her head in submission and went in to the kitchen to do something Paisley couldn't fathom about.

" I've already called your uncle and he should be here in less than three minutes, just get ready. Also before I forget, do remember to give my greetings to your grandfather, I know that old man still blames me for your mother's death so he wouldn't want to even hear about me, just do it how you know best." he said with a ping of sadness showing on his face for a split second.

"Ok dad " she replied.

Just soon, the sound of a horning car was heard outside the house, Paisley immediately got up from the sofa she was seated knowing it was her uncle's car, she went outside the house finding a white SUV with a man drinking coffee by the steering wheel.

" Hello niece, ten years no see " the man said as she looked at her with a cheerful wink before opening the door to get out.
