Chapter 11 - chapter 10

*Chapter 9: The Journey Begins*

Iyan stayed in the witch's hut for 50 days, preparing herself for the journey to the world of the spirits. The journey could lead to life or death, but she was strong and believed she could reunite the two lost lovers, Iyan and Amoni. One morning, she finally stepped out, ready to begin. Before she left, the witch gave her food and blessings, saying, "The God of Amoni and the Lord of iyango will protect you on this path."

Iyan believed something greater was waiting. As she traveled through the spirit world, she saw the spirits of her late parents. But she remembered the warning: "Any spirit you see in this world may be a threat to your mission. That when Amoni and iyango was alive, iyango parents do not accept not spirit accept them so don't believe any spirit because the want you to go

Her parents begged her to return. "This journey is not for you," they said.

But Iyan stood firm. "This journey is mine," she replied, lifting her sword and striking through the illusion. The spirits vanished.

She continued on, feeling stronger. Her name, iyan, was one given to her by her parents—it meant "great woman." She believed she must fulfill the meaning of her name and complete the journey to reunite the spirits of Yago and Amoni.
