Chapter 12 - chapter 11

*Chapter 9 – The Spirit of Nonu*

After seeing her mother, iyan saw a woman she had never seen before—her grandmother. She was shocked. The woman stood before her, bowed low, and called her "a great woman-child."

Iyan was confused. She had never met this woman, yet she felt something strong and familiar. Then she remembered—her mother once mentioned a name during a story: "Nonu." The woman in front of her now said, "I am Nonu." At that moment, iyan understood—this was her grandmother. The sign of the arrow on the woman's body confirmed it.

Nonu looked at her and said, "Before you continue this journey, you must think about those you love. Only love can help you reach the end. Iyango and Amoni's love was powerful. That is why your parents brought you into this world—to complete their destiny."

She continued, "When your mother gave birth to you, she called you iyan It means 'yam'—a symbol of strength and harvest in the land ofyourba land Every time yam sprouts from the earth, it is a greeting to Everyone You are that greeting. You must not fail."

Tears filled iyan eyes.

Nonu said, "Many spirits tried to fulfill this mission—Eken, the strong one, and others. But they failed. Now the spirits have chosen you. This love must not vanish. If the love between Yago and Amoni dies, love in the world will break. Half-moons will become a curse, destroying relationships."

She took a breath. "But if you succeed, this love will bring healing, strength, and unity back to all hearts."

Yano looked at her grandmother and replied, "I will not fail. I will complete this journey."

So iyan cried to her grandma ask her why she left her

Her grandma replied to her tell her that, why your parents left you to world of the spirit what's to make you stronger, dealth is sign of love but People call it sign of pain
