CHAPTER 30 THE MI YANDER MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE PART 6
Some moments before Chapter 31
We have reached the forest', Austin said. Ray Nagisaki was lost yet again in his own world so when he heard those words he had to focus on what Austin had said but that did not stop him yet again from going down the me memory lane. He remembered the time when he was still with his hero, his uncle. His uncle took him here and they would spend a lot of time training and at the end of the day they would see the beautiful sun as it set over the horizon beholding it's rays that created a beautiful picturesque as they saw the panoramic view on the mountain top.l t reminded him a lot about him. He remembered that although this was a forest where power beasts used to abide in and live in ancient times, power beasts were no longer found in this place ever since a bit over a hundred thousand years ago, dangerous power beasts no longer roamed the area but you could see harmless and weak power beasts.In the real world they could see power beasts now and then in this forest but they were weak and harmless and they were always in concealment because of the hunters. "We must be cautious Ray because my father told me that dangerous power beasts have started to roam the forest yet again but the news has not yet been broadcasted because the matter has been concealed from the general public. My father once told me that twenty adventurers came here to search for the Mountain King's tomb and they were all on the transcendent level but according to the report it is said that among the twenty hunters only one was left and she said that when they were in the forest and before they reached the mountain a powerful fog engulfed them and she did not see and neither did she pick up the aura of the beast. It was too fast and the only thing that she could see was a huge claw that ripped them apart and she was unable to track or perceive the beast's presence no matter what. As the archer her attacks were obviously long range but she could not even use her arrows to kill it even if she was a top notch archer. Within seconds 19 transcendent level beings were killed without even hitting the monster leaving her alone.The despicable beast whose body was not visible to her naked eyes slaughtered all of them.
They were unable to even recover their comrades bodies and were forced to surrender. After the woman told them her report she died not after some days, not after some seconds or hours but at that moment she lost her life. After blurting out the information she died in front of my Father and the other patriarchs including the Krateor and Cheng family. When he heard the word Krateor his eyebrows furrowed because if they were hear then it was a very serious issue not that it was not in the same place. Ray thanked the heavens that these things would not happen in the real world making him breathe a sigh of relief. Austin continued "They came to a conclusion that the Mountain King was sending them a message because if it wanted to kill her at anytime it could have bit it had not dealt with her but left her so that she could pass the message to the others. Their thoughts concerning this is that the Mountain king does not want them to know what it is hiding', Austin told his friend. Ray was left in shock because he had been unable yo think straight when he breathed a sigh of relief by mistake. "Was this beast the one he was supposed to meet in the second trial and if he met it would he be able to kill it. No way he was not capable of killing such a being because he was the weakest person he ever knew right now". "I told you because you are my friend. Rememeber it is confidential information. The reason why l told you is because l want you to be ready to fight against whatever it is you are going to fight even if it is the Mountain King. Ray was touched he hugged his brother Austin and thanked him .'After a few seconds they continued. They saw only a few harmless beasts like the red rabbit, the wandering deer and a few that they battled against and killed but strangely nothing happened and no gigantic beast stepped up.
Was the information that was given authentic or was it pseudo, they did not know because as long they were safe that was the only thing that mattered. "Hey where was the Mountain King found like where were they when they were engulfed by the fog',Ray asked. "Dad said that they had a map and this map is currently in the custody of the 12 Great clans and they have decided to dispatch their soldiers after discerng the hideout because they said the map is hard to comprehend because since it is written in an ancient rune language and is hard to decode. They have barely understood the map and he said they have been able to decode twenty percent of the information and it has been six months but they are not giving up because they are treasures that the Mountain King might be protecting. Whatever the case they are not letting it slide so easily', he said as he stored the horned rhino's corpse in his body. This is going to take a really long time my lord', Ray said as they were climbing up the mountain on a path that was man-made and was kind of an easy transport for them. Who knew what was going to happen along the way to their destination.They saw nothing even when they reached the very top of the mountain.The higher you go the cooler it becomes',that saying was real and authentic because when they were on the very top of the mountain they felt the chilly weather,the wind was billowing as it brushed their faces.They spent a couple of minutes roaming the area but they saw nothing,not even a shining light that came from the heavens dared to pierce through the heavens and dye the clouds with their luminous very golden colour like what happened in some of the novels he read.[Welcome to reality fella let your dreams be crushed and your fantasy be devoured by the sheer, cold and most perfect taste that may be bitter and it's name is reality]."Hey take this ring l have a feeling that something is about to happen ', Austin said as he gave another ring to his friend that had never ever belonged to anyone and had weapons inside it. Ray thanked him before he bit his finger and let the blood that oozed from his wound have contact with the ring building a connection with the storage ring and he became it's master.
Right then and there he seemed like he had gotten enlightenment when he wore that ring because his gaze fell on a specific location that was on the mountain and this was ….. The centre of the mountain.
