"l want you to flaunt your fire', the golem said before it raised its left foot and without even thinking twice threatening to stomp no squash him but he dodged it in the nick of time. 'Arghhhhhhh' , he groaned in pain as he felt his broken ribs, bones and his almost broken will. It was a gory sight. Right now Ray was drenched in his own blood and was exhausted. Arghhhhhhhh ' , he screamed yet again as he felt another form of pain and cried in agony. His agonizing cries were tragedic and they echoed as they hit the walls again and again as they echoed in what seemed to be an endless battle ground that had walls reinforcing it but that did not mean even if it had a shred of compassion it would let him go because this was the golem's duty. His duty was to protect the amulet and the Second trial and that was what he was doing. He and his fellow golems had a reason and this was the reason why they lived- Protecting The immortal Golden Phoenix's inheritance and they would not disobey the orders they were given because those orders were a law that was never meant to be disobeyed at any moment no matter what. He was yet again in the air with a bloodied face and a bloodied body while his blood was sprayed all over the battleground.1 No matter what, he did not understand why he could not summon his power. He just could not and he could not understand why he could no longer summon that little flame he had once summoned in the beautiful morning before all this fiasco and upside down thing happened. He was holding on to his sword and as he walked towards Ray who was struggling to even rise up because of the brokenness of his bones he looked at him, his eyes looked like they wanted to pierce his. It seemed like he wanted to decipher something but he could not no matter how much he tried to look deep down them he did not know why but he thought that he was the one who must become the inheritor because he felt an indomitable will, an unwillingness to die that was deep within the crevice of his soul etched in his very spirit. Although his bones were broken and he could not move any of his limbs he still had something in him. He had something that was unshakable as unshakable can be and that was his unbroken spirit and indomitable will. "What manner of creature art thou?', the Golem asked as he looked' at him in utter disbelief and shock and this further improved his faith concerning this lad . l …..', he stood up slowly with a smile on his crimson dyed face and whole bodywhich made him look like a maniac or some kind of monster which he was not. "l am the one who knows what it means to fight against all odds , the one who believes in having an unbreakable spirit, indomitable will and a resolute mind, an unconquered soul and will never let go of what is within my grasp ', he said as he stood on one knee while his other knee that was weakened faltered too making him kneel but he still crawled towards the Golem with bravery.
The other golems looked at him with shock and reverence. They too were awe-struck. "Thou art a creature most fair, foreordained for grandeur not woe. Thy fate is sealed in glory's script wherein thou shalt ascend in might and sapience . Like a flame unquenched thou shalt stand unyielding, and like a fire all-consuming, thou shalt blaze. Thy name shall not be whispered in servitude or obscurity, but thou shalt be known as an heir of noble birth, a wildfire untamed, Lord of the Devouring Flame, Sovereign of the Eternal Blaze. Thou shalt stride forward unvanquished and unbound, thy radiance illuminating the path, as the fire that burns within thee shall forge thy legend, and thy name shall echo through the annals of time . You thought that you were dodging the fire on the arm of Malik but you were not, no instead you walked on the fire but it did not turn you into crisp or erase you because of your indomitable will and you have received a beating from me and have made contact with my leg but you still stand. Nonetheless you still have to flaunt your fire because if you do not do it l will have to slay you and we will have to wait for another, the Golem said Ray who was down on his two knees looked at his two hands that he was unable to use making him helpless. He did not know how he got the strength to lift his battered body that had been broken al over up, he did not know why he thought that he was dodging the fire but walked on it without being consumed by it but his whole being although frail was strong, although the bones were broken, the will was not, the ligaments and many of his body parts had been ravaged but his unwavering flame, his unconquerable soul he was up once again and looked at his right hand and he looked at his palm with hope. Using all his strength he tried to but he could not. He tried so many times but he could not flaunt the fire within him. "This is a tragedy @',the golem said as he stretched his hand and swung the sword downwards threatening to behead him with it. At this time he rememberaed his uncle, his parents their letters and the memories he had with them. The sword was a few metres from penetrating him but then a flame suddenly appeared on his hand and it was flickering while it burned with purity and had no adulteration in it. At that time the sword that burnt with a holy fire that was meant to severe his head stopped when it was a few inches from killing him. At that time the chains ceased holding the golems and the leader of the four knelt down and uttered the six letters in this particular word and it was Master. The other golems knelt on the ground and said in unison Master. Ray felt himself getting better and better because his bones were replenished and he regained his strength. All of the blood disappeared from his clothes. He was still shocked by what had happened. Right now six golems that knelt before him surrounded him while their bodies were blazing, engulfed with fire." So all this time the technique my uncle gave me three years ago was connected to the Phoenix who created this place', he thought to himself as he looked at the flame that totally engulfed his hand. He looked at the flame that the golems had and saw that their flames were dimmer than his making him wonder. Even if the earth shook when they knelt down before him he did not even fill the tremors of the earth. " So all of you are my servants ' , he asked. "Yes you are our lord because the flame that you displayed belongs to his majesty our primordial lord but that does not mean that you are not going to partake in the next trials ',he said knowing what he was thinking. 'Oh man ', Ray thought. He thought that all of it had ended but it was not. He thought that because of the original flames he had the ultimate cheat code. "l want to ask you why weren't the chains l had turn to ashes when l wrapped the other golems in it".
"It is because the chains you had increase their strength, power and length depending on one's sheer will and the flame that we manifest is not that strong but it has the power to completely raze mountains. They cannot erase from existence like the one in River of The Holy Original Fire because they are a lower form but that does not mean they are not deadly ', the golem said.
Ray hearing this was astounded and he felt a bit proud of himself because if he were one of those wiz editors his endurance would be above mountain level since he had not died or turn to ashes when he had direct contact with it [Dream big]. Hearing this he nodded and made his way to the platform. lf it had not been for the sword that the golems especially the leader wielded being large he wanted to hold it and pierce the earth when he reached the platform like one of those cool guys in the movies [Ok this guy is arrogant]. He reached the platform and he looked at the luminous golden amulet with a smile on his face and stretched forth his hand as he held the amulet and vanished from the area and in the next second he saw the recent familiar faces he had gotten accustomed to and he did not know why but he missed them very much.
