Chapter 27 - Rewards Galore!

Back in the Space Station, after seeing the group leave, Herta and the crew turned their gazes towards those who were left:

Grazfynd the Krork

Tigurius the Chief Librarian

Captain Titus

Archamgos Dominus Belisarius Cawl

Chapter Master Marneus Calgar

This reminded Herta of a very important question:

"Excuse me, could you please tell me how on earth you lot managed to come here before schedule. I heard from Shinji that you were supposed to come an hour later. What happened to make it possible for you to come earlier...?"

The Warhammer crew looked at each other, contemplating who should tell her. Finally, Grazfynd, being the elder one, came forward. "Yeah, we thought so as well. We also thought it would take an imperial hour to reach this world, but the thing is, on the way here, we found something quite concerning:

We found there seemed to be a tunnel in the Interdimensional barrier protecting this universe

Though it's quite faint, we cannot assume that, somewhere around 20,000 to 30,000 years ago, there must have been people who had the technology and the knowledge to somehow create doors that safely breached the barrier, causing them to travel outside this universe. To where, we don't know, but the fact is that there is a road from your universe to the multiverse, and this is an issue for you lot. Particularly, if someone, or something, unsavoury were to set eyes here, hehehe, you lot are all fucked. Oh, and before I forget, we had also detected a slight trail remaining from the last time someone used it. Probably around 5-6 years ago..."

As Herta pondered upon the (slightly) concerning news, another was not having a good field day.

Sweating at the news, a gloved hand gripped their cane tighter than ever, dark purple lightning crackling slightly near the edge...

As Shinji was eating his breakfast, he finally realised what he had forgotten as he was eating the breakfast. Slapping his head loudly (to the point of scaring Sakura into dropping her bowl of Miso soup), Shinii dashed up (cause it was a Saturday, so no school).

Closing the door, Shinji breathed in, calming himself, before opening the group chat:

[The Avenging Son: I have heard from Calgar and that wretched Krork that you've met some remnants of those Tyranids. How was the battle...?]

[Dragon Queen: Ewww, I hate bugs!]

[Gacha Girl: Aren't you supposed to be the queen of the f@^#^@^ dragons! Why are you soo squeamish about some pathetic bugs? Or what you said all about you being a Dragon was all a lie...]

[Kuroneko: At least think about us weaklings! Oh, you and your so-called 'Dragon' claws can shred those bugs into ashes instantly. Think about us weaklings for a second!]

[Spin User: Hear, hear...]

[Kuroneko: Don't you dare start! I mean, what's with the bullshit ability 'Spin'!? How on earth can it cause you to manipulate the very fabric of time and space!?]

[Spin User: It's only gravity, my dear flat-chested sweetheart...]

[Kuroneko: Yeah, and it's one of the four fundamental forces of the universe! Get a grip, you illiterate, olive-oil drinking, womanising cunt!]

Just as a full-fledged fight was about to start, the system rang its bell...

[Hello everybody, it's your favourite system here, =)! Thanks to the successful participation of our three members, alongside the newbie, this mission was considered to be a resounding success! So because the rating has gone above and beyond, this system has decided to increase the ranking off all your rewards by one entire tier! Please, enjoy...]

Silence reigned in the room, before everyone began clamouring for our heroes to quickly open their rewards...
