Stacy's POV
I stood there confused, not knowing what to do. He was right here, and the next moment, he was no longer there. It was confusing, but I remained calm.
I gazed around, but he was nowhere to be found. I panicked, my eyes darting around in fear. Where the hell are they?
My heart raced, and I thought about what to do. Should I move forward, or should I stay back?
What if he did that to return to the pack without my knowledge?
"You still don't trust him, do you?" My wolf asked with worry in her tone.
"I do, but I'm still scared. I don't really know him."
As I started to convince myself about it I noticed movement. I stopped, fear gripping me, but soon I found myself moving backwards bit by bit.
My eyes darted around, looking for a route to escape, but I didn't know a path to take.
