Chapter 37 - Chapter 34

Stacy's POV

"It's time…" his voice reached my ears, and I didn't know what else to say. My chest drummed with lots of excitement. For some reason, I had two feelings, but now that I was closer to the human world, I guess I was able to put down the tension a bit. 

"Do you have any place in mind?" I asked with raised brows. There were already so many things involved, and I wanted it to be that we already had where we were going to stay. 

"Nope." 

My eyes immediately widened. Was he trying to tell me there was nothing here? Nothing for us that we were starting from scratch. 

"You seemed too confident in whatever you were doing. I thought you knew what you were doing, huh?" I asked, bothered. I knew my fears were starting to grow, but the way he stared at me made me feel unsafe as well. 

"You should have known we were gesturing into the wild, and you don't have to always assume I know all. I am just trying to work things out."
