Chapter 22 - CHAPTER 22: I CANNOT ALLOW YOU TO TAKE HER FROM THIS PLACE

The car pulled up to the grand entrance of the mansion, and Asdem stepped out, offering his hand to Olissa. Breaton exited the car on his own, his eyes scanning the surroundings with a mixture of curiosity and wariness.

As they approached the entrance, the massive wooden doors swung open, revealing a dimly lit hallway. A figure stood in the shadows, waiting for them.

"Right this way," Asdem said, gesturing towards the figure.

Breaton and Olissa followed Asdem into the mansion, the air thick with an otherworldly energy. They walked through the hallway, passing by ornate tapestries and candelabras, until they reached a large door.

Asdem pushed the door open, revealing a grand dining hall. A long table stretched down the center of the room, laden with fine china and crystal glasses. Candles flickered, casting a warm glow over the space.

"Welcome to my lord's dining hall," Asdem said, bowing slightly.

Breaton's eyes narrowed, his gaze scanning the room for any signs of danger. Olissa's hand crept into his, a gentle squeeze a reassurance.

Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows at the far end of the table. He was tall, with piercing eyes and skin as white as marble.

"Ah, Breaton Goodheart, it's a pleasure to finally meet you," the figure said, his voice low and smooth.

Breaton's eyes locked onto the figure, his mind racing with possibilities. Who was this mysterious lord, and what did he want with him?

"Let's sit down and discuss the reason for your invitation," the lord said, gesturing to the chairs.

Breaton and Olissa exchanged a wary glance, but they took their seats, Asdem standing behind them.

The lord smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I think we'll get along famously, Breaton. You see, I have a certain... proposition for you."

"Oh, sorry, where are my manners? My name is Fi-Six, I am the demon king," Fi-Six said with a sneer on his face.

Olissa shuddered slightly after hearing that name. Breaton, however, grew even more angry.

"I don't give a f*ck who you are, just tell me where Merry is," Breaton said, his voice firm and demanding.

Fi-Six chuckled. "You are a feisty one, aren't you? But there is no need for you to be worried about Miss Merry Winco. I assure you, she is doing just fine. She is currently under my protection, and as long as she stays here, no harm will come to her."

Breaton's eyes narrowed, his gaze fixed intently on Fi-Six. "What do you want in return for keeping her safe?" he asked, his voice low and cautious.

Fi-Six leaned back in his chair, a sly smile spreading across his face. "Ah, Breaton, you're a smart one. I think we can come to a mutually beneficial arrangement." His tone then turned cold. "Now, I have questions, and you're going to answer them all. The first question I have is: how did you get my blood inside you?" He paused. "Last time I checked, you are not one of my children; you are a human. So, how is it possible?" he asked with a stern expression.

Wait a moment!" Fi-Six said as he turned and narrowed his eyes at Olissa. "Don't I know you?" He asked.

But before Olissa could deny it. She was cut off from speaking.

"Don't listen to her!" shouted Ket Shi Kong as she walked into the room wearing a sleek red dress, and beside her was Merry, who was wearing a blue trimester dress; her stomach was not showing as yet. Being behind her were Leann and Bella, her demon maids. "Anything that girl says will be a lie, the reason she looks familiar to you is because she is the daughter of Alexandria E-mete , successor to that old bitch Salina White. For the coven of lock-loopers," Ket Shi Kong said as she walked and stood next to Fi-Six.

Fi-Six's eyes flashed with anger. "That woman Alexandria, is my sworn enemy; years ago, she seduced me, she told me I would be her first. Of course, that made me excited; I guess that is when she took my blood without me noticing. Anyway, that happened so long ago; I think it was like twenty-six or twenty-five years ago. Either way, it doesn't matter," he said with a frown.

Olissa's heart skipped a beat at Fi-Six's words; she wanted to believe that he could be the mystery... Her train of thought was cut off by Breaton shouting,

"Hey, I didn't come to hear your bullshit; I came here to rescue my friend; hand her over to me now!" Breaton demanded, his eyes turning a mixture of black and red as his vampire fangs were starting to show.

"Well, now isn't this a fascinating surprise? Not only does he have demon abilities, but also vampire. Alexandria has really out done herself with this one," Fi-Six said with amusement.

Merry took a step forward she wanted to go to Breaton's side, but was held back by Leann and Bella.

Breaton's eyes flashed with anger as he took a step forward, his fangs bared. "Let Merry go. I Said to let go of my dearest friend.," he growled, his voice low and menacing.

Fi-Six chuckled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "You call her your dearest friend. But she is so much more then you realize " he said with a mucking smile.

"What are you talking about?" Breaton snapped.

"Man you are slow as Fuck, Merry is carrying your child. You forget you Did the hanky pancakes with her now she is pregnant with your child.

Fi-Six said with a sneer.

Breaton's eyes softened as he looked at Merry, and he had tears in his eyes. "Merry, is what he said true?" he asked, his voice trembling.

"Y-ye-yes, Breaton It's true, what Mr. Fi-Six said is true. I am indeed carrying your child," Merry replied, trying to look brave.

When Olissa heard that, her heart started beating fast. "I am also carrying his child, but I haven't told him yet," Olissa thought to herself with a sigh.

"Now do you understand, Breaton? The demon blood that flows through your veins is mine, which would make this child my kin I cannot allow you take her a way from this place," Fi-Six said with a frown.
