Somewhere Down The Line

Julien Mornet is used to being abandoned. Bounced between foster homes since his parents left him to rot, he's learned to keep people at arm's length, because everyone leaves eventually. Kristina Vale lives behind a mask of silence. After enduring years of abuse from someone who was supposed to protect her, she's learned to survive by disappearing into herself. Trust is a luxury she can’t afford. When Julien and Kristina meet, something clicks. A pull neither of them can explain. In each other, they find familiarity in pain and comfort in the silence between words. But what starts as a fragile connection soon spirals into something far more consuming. Their relationship becomes a storm of obsession, guilt, longing and control. It isn’t love they fall into. It’s dependency. It’s fear. It’s a mirror reflecting every unhealed scar they tried to bury.
