Chapter 7 - 7

After much diligent research, Ron had almost figured out the material composition of the mutated venom.

With a clearer understanding, Ron's success rate in materializing the mutated venom had greatly increased.

Without hesitation, Ron immediately used his fantasy materialization ability, intending to materialize the mutated venom.

However, no matter how much Ron tried to materialize the mutated venom, he simply couldn't, not even a half-finished product.

Ron thought for a moment and understood why.

It was still because his current mental strength was too weak; the mutated venom was still an existence that exceeded the limits of his materialization ability.

If Ron wanted to materialize the mutated venom, his mental strength would need to be even stronger!

Without further hesitation, Ron directly used his mental power to materialize a syringe similar to a spider's chelicerae, and then injected the mutated venom into his body!

Ron wasn't afraid of failure; his singularity wasn't just there to watch the show, so Ron was very confident.

For the following period, Ron waited quietly.

The mutated venom also needed some time to take effect; Ron had already waited this long, so a little more time wouldn't hurt.

However, just as Ron was waiting for the mutated venom to take effect, he discovered that the mutated spider that produced the venom had lost its vital signs and had died.

Seeing the mutated spider's death, Ron felt a slight regret.

Ron hadn't intended to kill this mutated spider; instead, he planned to raise it to see how long it could live and how much mutated venom it could produce!

Unexpectedly, the mutated spider died for unknown reasons.

However, Ron didn't pay too much attention to it; he had already grasped the general material composition of the mutated venom, and as long as his mental strength was strong enough, he didn't even need to know what those substances were to directly materialize the mutated venom. So, the death of the mutated spider was not a big deal to him!

Of course, since the mutated spider could produce mutated venom, it must have had something special about it. So Ron didn't throw away the mutated spider; instead, he directly froze it in a refrigerator to see if it could be used for other purposes in the future.

After a while longer, Ron finally felt some drastic changes in his body, and then all of Ron's body tissues began to strengthen.

The mutated venom did not cause any accidents; it functioned as it was supposed to.

Unlike Spider-Man, Ron didn't pass out due to the changes in his body; relying on his strong mental power, Ron witnessed everything happening firsthand!

At the same time, Ron also felt that the singularity in his sea of consciousness began to expand and grow stronger.

Ron was very excited, which meant that the method he knew for strengthening mental power was real and effective.

As long as Ron could acquire enough powerful abilities or items to nourish his singularity, allowing it to gain more and more material combination sequences, his singularity could grant Ron more abilities, making him even stronger!

Time passed bit by bit, and gradually, the almost unobservable black dot in Ron's sea of consciousness had become a small black ball about a centimeter in size, completing its enhancement.

Of course, this wasn't that the singularity had truly grown larger, but rather that Ron could perceive the singularity as being larger!

Enjoying his mental power, which was more than ten times stronger than before, Ron felt incredibly 'wonderful'!

Ron felt that everything around him had become clearer; he seemed to be like a god in his immediate vicinity, controlling everything around him.

And at this moment, Ron's body had also been completely strengthened successfully.

Feeling the drastic changes in his body, Ron immediately held his breath, trying to use this method to trigger his damned hereditary cough.

That hereditary disease had always caused Ron great suffering, so after his body was strengthened, the first thing Ron thought of was this.

However, Ron had held his breath for a full five minutes, and his cough had not reappeared.

Knowing that the hereditary disease had been completely cured, Ron began to test how strong his body had become.

It was night, and Ron walked out of the house. He first tested his speed, then went to a park with large rocks to test his strength, reaction speed, and so on... Finally, Ron even found a tall building to test if he had Spider-Man's wall-crawling ability, as well as Spider-Man's ability to shoot webs with steel-like strength!

Although shooting webs from his body seemed a bit strange, if his body could possess these abilities, Ron wouldn't refuse.

Unfortunately, perhaps due to insufficient dosage or the fact that most of the dosage was absorbed by the singularity, Ron's body could not shoot webs, nor could he climb tall buildings directly with his hands and feet like Spider-Man!

But in the end, Ron still flew to the top of the tall building, using his own mental power.

Ron's mental power included psychokinesis, and using psychokinesis to lift himself up a tall building was just a small matter!

Then, Ron's hand shot out Spider-Man's web, sticking to a large building across the way, and relying on the tough web, he floated himself to another building below that large building.

This web, of course, was not shot from Ron's body, but rather he materialized a device capable of shooting such webs through his materialization ability, and then floated over by relying on the device to shoot the web!

This web-shooting device was actually also Spider-Man's thing, but it was actually a small device that Peter Parker in another later Spider-Man movie created himself with his technological talent, capable of shooting webs as tough as rebar!

Ron had watched that Spider-Man movie before and seen the plot where Spider-Man researched this device, so he materialized this item using his materialization ability.

However, Ron did not keep this small device he materialized, but directly turned it back into his mental power.

For Ron, who could already fly, this small device had no significant use for him; its monotonous function instead made Ron seem a bit foolish!

The reason Ron materialized this item just now was actually to test how much his mental power had been strengthened!

Ron found that after his mental power was strengthened by more than ten times, his materialization ability could now materialize some objects with relatively high mass and energy levels, and complex material compositions, within a range of about fifty meters around him, such as the small web-shooter device, a decent car, and so on... However, that was the extent of it. Ron also tried to materialize Captain America's vibranium shield or Iron Man's Iron Man suit, but he did not succeed.

This was also normal, after all, Captain America's vibranium shield and Iron Man's Iron Man suit had overly complex material compositions and energy, so it was normal for Ron not to be able to materialize these things now.

Ron thought that perhaps when his mental power was strengthened again, or after he thoroughly understood the material composition of technological equipment like the Iron Man suit, he should be able to materialize these things!

Next, Ron experimented with materializing the mutated venom he had obtained earlier.

This time, after expending almost all of his mental power, Ron finally materialized another dose of the mutated venom he had previously injected!

Looking at the materialized mutated venom, a smile appeared on Ron's face, and he injected a dose of the mutated venom into his body.

Soon after, Ron's body was strengthened again.

However, the degree of strengthening this time was not much; after the effects of the mutated venom had fully dissipated, Ron's body was only strengthened by about one-tenth compared to before.

And this time, the degree of Ron's mental power strengthening was not even one-tenth of the previous time.

Ron didn't find this surprising.

This wasn't because the materialized mutated venom was less effective, but because his body and mental power had already absorbed the mutated venom once, developing resistance to it, which was why this happened.

If Ron wanted to continue strengthening his mental power and body, he would need to acquire other things that could strengthen them.

After experimenting for a long time, Ron finally returned home, calming down his excited mood after gaining such powerful strength.

After the experiments, Ron felt that his current strength was probably equivalent to Spider-Man at his peak in the movies, or similar to an incomplete version of the Hulk.

Hmm... perhaps it's also similar to the combined strength of five Captain Americas!

Ron knew that now, he finally had the initial ability to protect himself in this dangerous Marvel Comics world!
