In the celestial halls above all realms, a divine council gathers. The gods, wearied by the monotony of mortal existence—simple lives, predictable fates—seek change.
God Jason, the boldest among them, rises and declares:

When asked how mortals will survive such upheaval, Jason simply replies:
"We announce it tonight. By morning, they will belong to Questoria."
The Shattering
At dawn, the world fractures. Mountains shift. Skies swirl with cosmic auroras. Reality itself bends. All races awaken in a transformed land—Questoria—a world of sprawling ruins, enchanted arenas, and mysterious portals.
From the heavens, angels descend. One—Stovic—addresses the stunned masses:
"The Creator was bored. Life was too simple, too safe. Now, even angels must earn divinity.
Complete one hundred million quests. Gain one million skills. Ascend—and become god."
From this moment, every child aged 12 must choose:
Live in safety Or walk the Trial Path
Each receives their first skill during the Baptism of Questoria, a sacred rite honoring this celestial shift.
The Origin Retold
Years later, the tale is retold by Angel King Astelviya to his son, Prince Satlin. Suddenly, the enigmatic Golden Bell Mask appears before the king.
"Majesty," he says, "let us enter the dungeon. A quest awaits."
The king summons General Deigo and forms a team to explore the legendary Metricovera Dungeon. Golden Mask reveals his secret:
"I am the owner of the Dark Void. I bring slaves. Let us move."
The party enters the dungeon.
The Fall
Three days pass. Disaster strikes. Only one survivor returns—Dark Void Regas. All others, including the king, Golden Mask, and Deigo, are lost.
Prince Satlin, now age 13, leads the retrieval. He orders a royal ritual to honor the fallen. The ceremony is held. The kingdom mourns.
But Satlin is changed.
